Ugh! Such a Big disappointment cause I hadnt been to jack in the box in sooo long! I was actually excited about it pulling into the drive thru. However... I made the mistake I really try not to make going through the drive thru... Multi-tasking! I was on a group mtg call With my passenger, while carrying on a side conversation, while blah blah blah... so needless to say, checking the bag for the correct order hadnt even entered my brain... let alone the fact that she did not give me my reciept. Anyway, needless to say our order was completely screwed up, with several missing but paid for items. And of course the missing receipt when I called the location, she was Very Sceptical that I had even been there and kept telling me she didnt remember me... although I had left the location not even 20 min before I found myself on the other end of the phone actually trying to Prove I was there and made the order... she then said she didnt have any orders like that at her location... after a few more minutes And actually looking through my location history giving her the exact time I was at the store, along with our exact order that was placed and the amount paid... Oh AND giving a description of my vehicle... I was told to bring the entire order back to the store and they would 'fix it'. When I got there the accusatory attitudes were Even Worse and now I was finding myself trying to justify my Less than $10 Purchase to Two clearly skeptic and suspicious women. LESS THAN $10! Why wld AnYoNe go through all this bs to come up on a flippin discount menu jumbo jack for Pete's sake?! So again after a good 5 minutes of descriptive explanation and again pulling out my phone and actually showing her my location history, she Finally says, 'I will fix this, but just this One Time ONLY! Next time you need a reciept!" I reminded her AGAIN that I had not been given a receipt by the cashier, to which she just turns around and walks away. When she returns to the window again, she semi-admits to receiving the order we placed, but Now tells me, I was not charged for the second jj... but she was gonna give it to me anyway... Just this once! (Like she was doing me this favor or something.) I was then told I wld need to pull around to the front to wait for our order. While we waited, I checked the math in my head... then even went and took a look at the pricing on the menu for the food we had ordered and, just as I thought, I had absolutely been charged for every single item I had ordered. Our food is brought out with a quick sorry bout that as she is walking away. And before we could even say anything she was heading inside. This time our order was correct, Except I had ordered a 10 piece mini churro and there was only 5 in the bag .. as well as no more of the buttermilk ranch or ketchup we had previously requested. It was just a HUGE Let Down after having not visited in so long before this. The food wasnt bad... but wasnt super good either... just like I said. MAJOR...
Read moreCame in last weekend to grab a quick lunch as I was running errands. I also had to use the restroom and wanted to wash my hands before I handled my food. When I entered, I found the restrooms locked.
I waited at the counter for several minutes and nobody helped. Finally, a woman came in and said she'd be right with me. Another few minutes... By the time she came back, I really had to use the restroom so I asked if I could do so. I'm an older adult who takes a medication that unfortunately dictates how frequently I have to use the restroom. I shouldn't have to explain this here or at the moment. She refused stating I had to order first. I said I would order, and asked to unlock the restroom. She said I had to pay first.
I asked for the manager, and she identified herself as such, but had no name tag or anything indicating she was the manager. She was rude and condescending. I asked for the contact info for corporate and she refused to give it to me, claiming she didn't know it. Tell me how a manager doesn't know?
Finally, after paying for my food I raced to the restroom. Once I came out and came around the corner back to the counter I could hear her commiserating with a coworker in spanish about me. She was turned away, and the coworker, in spanish told her I was back. I immediately spoke up that I know Spanish and felt it was inappropriate for them to be talking about customers. She seemed surprised at my comment. Maybe she shouldn't assume that someone with fair skin isn't Latino.
I really don't care about the excuses JITB will give for this policy. It is rude, demeaning and wrong. Any business that serves food should have easy access to a restroom to maintain cleanliness of workers and patrons. Stop treating everyone...
Read moreI never leave review for any business but the experience I had earlier today was out of my expectation. I tried to call the store to speak to the manager but nobody answered the phone. Around 4 pm today I came to order at drive through. As the car in front of me moved forward, i drove up as how drivethrough normally is. At the ordering window, i waited for somebody to take my order but nobody said anything. 5 mins passed by, i said hello hello a few times to the speaker, but heard nothing back. I thought oh maybe the speaker is broken and i will ask when I come up to the window. Because the cars in front of me were about to leave. Right after I drive forward, I heard the speaker talking to the person behind me. I didnt think anything but waited at the window to see whats the cashier has to say to me. Out of my imagination, first thing she said to me was "you have to wait for somebody at the speaker". I told her what i was doing the whole time at the speaker, but all she did was giving me attitude and saying it was my fault. What she said really triggered me up was "do you not have patience?". WHO TALKS TO CUSTOMER LIKE THAT? I waited and waited for somebody to say something but she ignored me! And now saying i have no patience? Im Asian and was she just being discriminating? That was the only reason I could think of. She was the rudest out of all the places ive been to. I didnt come to get free food. I come to pay for the service and this was not I was hoping to receive. I hope she value the customers better because without customers, business...
