In my four times of visiting this bar, never did I consider an act of unkindness or racial violence. As a Filipina, it was not something I considered as an experience given my handful of times visiting this bar. Unfortunately, as a bystander I witnessed what was a clear racial outward moment between a customer and their staff from someone claiming āto manage the barā. I experienced not being carded or questioned for my order (I had ordered for 4 friends). As the person (clearly asian) had ordered 3 drinks, he was immediately asked to show ID for the drinks ordered. He outwardly explained 1 was for the person next to him and the other 2 were for him. He was met with hostile repremandment for ordering 3 drinks for 2 people with the bartender saying "it was policy to not be able to order that many drinks at ojceu for that many people". Considering I had just did this, it was obviously concerning.
To top this experience off, the person was aggressively told to leave for not tipping the bartender serving him. For simply not tipping someone who racially profiled him and for having to stand up to someone who was kicking him out for treating him unhumanely. My fiancƩ stepped in to try and interrupt the issue and the bartender rudely replied "you don't have the right to ask me questions of...
Read moreOn 8/22/25, I visited this bar with my mother. My mother was not happy with the subpar cadillac margarita that the bartender made. I took it back to the bar to inform the bartender, who had a very blasé and unconcerned attitude. Instead of having her make a new drink, I asked her for another shot of Gran Marnier. My mother was still dissatisfied with the taste of the drink. She took it back to the bar and spoke with the other bartender, a male with a short ponytail who has actually served us during a previous visit and had a very nasty attitude. The bartender started to make my mother another drink. I told him that I also paid for another shot of Gran Marnier. He then said, "So you had two shots of Gran Marnier?" I confirmed. He then said, "I guess I have to make a free drink." We were not asking for a free drink; we just asked for it to be made properly. We let him know we were offended by his comment. The service at this place is horrible and lackluster. We will never go there again. One last thing, one of the other bartenders scratched his head numerous times over the bar and never washed his...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCool watering hole with a decent variety of base spirits and mixers. They spin vinyl Thurs, Fri, Sat and have a large record collection. They play it LOUD on the weekends. You have to almost yell even when sitting next to someone. We like it much more on the other days with the savvy Pandora station. Think Oceans 11 meets Outta Sight. They also have outdoor seating in front of the joint. The staff are very cool. Everything is ordered at the bar. The chow is limited but it fits the vibe. I like the steak bites. The cheeseburger is good. The salads are large and yummy. Popcorn comes with different flavors. Personally I'm not a fan of the salt & vinegar. The Pizza Party flavor is our fav. The chicken sandwich comes on a bun and is a little bit polite. If you like spicy ask for extra jalapenos. We like the curly fries. The one thing that I wish was better is how long it takes for staff to get to you. 9 times out of 10 we sit at the bar. Usually that means quicker service. Not here. It always takes longer to order and get your check. Check out my profile for more great eateries and...
