The food was really delicious. The people who worked here took our order and quickly gave our food to us. They were so friendly. The peanut butter burger that I had was so good and the quality was neither hit or miss. It was just simply perfect🥰
And before you all start asking why we went here in the first place. My sister got hungry for some of their food. So we went here and found the service to not be too disappointing at all.
Compared to Roakes however they also had an old style 50s vibe as you walked into the place. The rock music started playing on loud speakers and they were all so busy serving other customers as well so it's a popular place before you go to Sellwood Bridge that's for sure😋
The people also conversed with each other there which made it hard for us to hear our order after purchasing the delicious burgers but I say that it was worth it😅
The order was quickly prepared and the seats that we sat in were super clean as well which made it a little better rather then garbage being thrown on the seats all the time.
By the time we got our order. It was hot and smelled very good. The burger I had with bacon pickles and peanut butter on the side with their delicious fries was so good. Even my sister and dad had the same thing. So all of us enjoyed the burger and fries regardless of their price.☺️
The place is nice for what it is. And the food is super good. But the price is not worth it, you could go to roakes instead and get yourself the little john and even that would be a better burger.
But other then that we spent a good night eating the food and watching our favorite movie Dutch while we were in dad's car.
What's not to love about this place is everything that I said in the review. Sure the food is awesome but roakes is still better and extremely affordable.
This place is not affordable however but more then makes up for it with some delicious burgers and fries. So yeah if your ever in the Portland OR area stop by this place and try their food. You wont regret it at all!
If you want good food then come here but if not then...
Read moreThe Sellwood location. We just had a bad experience. We made an order through Door dash and this restaurant made the order wrong. I ordered a fun guy hamburger and they sent me the peanut butter one. I called them about this, and the manager said since this was order through Door dash, I had to request a refund through the app. Killer burger receipt had my order correctly. So the mistake was made by Killer burger. He didn't give me any other options. I tried to request a refund, and they only offered me $ 3.45, when the hamburger costs $12. I called again, and the lady who pick up the phone was very nice and tried to help, when I explained the situation she put me her manager. Again, he said in a rude manner: the only 2 options you have is come and pick up a burger or request a refund, that's the only thing I can do. He didn't even apologized about the mistake. He could have easily offered me a gift card for me to pick up when ever I could, But he treated me very rude like the mistake problem was through Doordarsh, they were the ones who made it. The receipt that killer burger sent specifically says Fun guy. Not the peanut butter one. What if I was...
Read moreWhen we came in at 5:00 on a Sunday, the staff were blasting electro-pop music so loudly it hurt our ears, our son covered his ears, I had to shout the order, and the clerk still often couldn’t hear me. I said, “you should really turn down the music,” and she clearly resented it. We waited awhile and my very pregnant and agreeable wife then came over and directly requested they turn it down - “I’ll work on it. I have to ask my manager.” Then it was turned down and turned into instrumental music within 10 seconds.
The obstinacy when I first mentioned the music was just unprofessional and led us to question whether they would spit in our food. We were given almost no fries which was a clear choice. Other customers waiting for their food were pretty clearly uncomfortable with the blaring music. The customer after us, probably setting an example for her kid, made a point of dancing while she ordered, in a way that said “don’t worry, I’m cool with this painfully loud music!” but which also came from a place...
