I’ve been visiting this little bakery for years, even before the new owners took over, and it continues to be a comforting. Specializing in classic Asian baked goods, they offer a wide selection at affordable prices, which makes it easy to walk out with a box full of your favorites without breaking the bank.

One of the things I cherish most about this place is how it connects generations. My grandma lives in a nearby nursing home, and I stop by to pick up a few treats for her. The moment she takes a bite, especially of the egg tarts or red bean buns, her face lights up with memories from her younger days. There’s something powerful and healing about food like that. It's not just a snack; it's a story, a moment, a reminder of home.

Personally, I can’t get enough of the egg tarts, both the traditional and caramelized versions. The crust is flaky and tender, and the filling is silky smooth. When they’re still warm from the oven, they’re absolutely divine. The custard buns and red bean buns are just as comforting, each bite familiar and satisfying.

I stopped in about an hour after the Bakery opened and it was really busy.

The self service bins on the wall had a very limited selection of buns.

I selected a Baked BBQ Pork bun, a crispy coated bun, and a Steamed BBQ bun from the front counter.

I waited in line for a short time and asked for a piece of Sponge Cake.

The steamed BBQ Pork was big and had a nice taste to it.

The baked BBQ Pork Bun was average tasting with limited filling.

A nice to stop for Chinese Buns and other baked goods if you arrive early for the best selection with a staff that speaks limited English.

A ten dollar purchase is required to use a credit card.

A wonderful new experience! You grab a tray with paper, and use the tongs to select your items, and then they are packaged at the register. The young lady at the counter was friendly and another employee offered us a fresh pastry that was nearly done. We came just before noon and they had either already sold out of a lot or hadn't made much yet, but there was still a good selection especially for never having tried any of them before. There are not a lot of details of ingredients, so we went in blind. But that added to the experience! Highly recommend the coconut bun and the ham and onion roll, and the egg custard mooncake.
