TLDR; the chow mein is to die for and is legitimately authentic.
We visited on the weekend on a very rainy day, with almost no one around. Ordered tofu momos, tofu chili momos and veg chowmein (no tofu, only veggies). The noodles are really the star for me - they were so darn authentic that I felt like I was home again, the flavor is very clean - no greasiness at all.
The momos were pretty nice too - not a fan of the sauce that comes with the regular momos but the chili gravy that comes with the chili momos is absolutely fantastic. It is rather spicy, but still really flavorful.
Portions are enormous, the momos were nearly 3 inches long and you get about 8 pieces per plate. We definitely over ordered and had to take half the food home.
There’s plenty of covered seating spaces which was a life saver given how hard it...
Read moreThe BEST chow mein of my life. Twice. It is perfectly filling, perfectly portioned, and the owners are so sweet! I have to make sure every time to tell them how good their food is. They are one of, if not THE most underrated Asian eateries in Portland. They make the noodles customizable for you, so I always get it without bell peppers. Thank goodness because most places, you can't. Today I also got their steamed beef momo (dumplings) which were delicious!! Also an excellent portion, I think there were 6 or 8? I paid $21 for the whole meal, which came with reusable Tupperware too. I'm so happy I found this place. I love it. PS Shoutout the girl in the truck across from them who recommended I try the chow mein. Thanks for...
Read moreThe owner asked me to tell him what I thought of the spicy chicken wrap but I had to leave for a meeting - the spicy chicken wrap was so delicious! I loved how flavorful the rice was and all the small peppers that were spread throughout. I also found the spice level to be perfect for me, spicy enough to need water but not too spicy your eyes are watering however others might not feel the same. It was also a very large wrap and extremely filling. I’ve been here a couple times and never been disappointed with a meal. If I had anything to complain about I would just say that the rice ratio in the wrap was a little too much but honestly it was so tasty that I don’t think I’d ever...
