Got a Margherita and Pesto pie on a hot spring day. Super friendly people working and the pizzas are very reasonably priced. Ordered and had my food within 10 minutes. They also serve slices, which they fire quickly in the oven and serve hot & fresh. They also offer vegan options (I didn’t try this time) which further expands the appeal. The Margherita was very tasty: light dough with a nice crunch and fresh ingredients. I loved the toppings on the Pesto pie (olives, kale, mushrooms, feta) but there was an overpowering flour flavor in every bite. Honestly, just seems like there was a little too much flour on the peel that got launched into the oven and then baked into the bottom of the crust. A pizza cart is a huge value add in a cart pod and Creature definitely satisfies that need at the St. John’s Beer porch.

Such great pizza. No seriously, the wood fired dough is up there with some of the best ever, the best in the world. I haven't been reminded so much of Naepolitan Pizza until P.C. and that's mainly thanks to how they treat their dough. For me, 5 stars comes when they add some more tang and flavor while thinning out the red sauce, then I'll be formally addicted. Oh and the Impossible sausage was so good!

Our favorite pizza food cart! Ingredients are always fresh and the pizza is delicious. The marinana sauce has that little bit of tomato sweetness that we love. The crust is just the right amount of crunch and chew to set it apart from other crusts. TIP: like all St Johns carts at the Beer Porch call ahead to make sure they are open!

As a vegan, be cautious of this place. We had eaten here about 5 or 6 times and yesterday (6/5/24) we ordered our favorite/usual order and after eating it I was violently throwing up and my husband didn’t throw up but had other stomach issues. I’m about 99.999% sure there was dairy cheese on our food because I threw up every bit of pizza I ate and instantly felt better. It’s kind of funny because when I was eating the first pizza I was like, “this cheese seems different” but it never occurred that it was dairy cheese because we’d eaten here so many times before with no problems. My husband thought maybe it was some kind of food poisoning but either way, the food we got and ate from here last night made us both sick but I was violently ill and projectile vomiting because my body had to get it out as quickly as possible. It was so upsetting, this place was on our top 5 spots for pizza in the city and never again. I couldn’t even find a way to contact them to ask about this, so here we are. Just beware if you’re vegan, I’m fairly certain they gave me cows milk yesterday. We ordered online, which was a first for us, usually my husband just goes there and orders, so I don’t know if that contributed to whatever issue we had. We did not eat anything or anywhere else, we got 2 vegan white pies and a large vegan Cesar salad, all of which I threw up after eating. So just a word of caution, it’s always a risk to eat at a non-vegan place with vegan options and I always worry about this happening and I really think it happened yesterday. Either way, back to all vegan...

I ordered pizza for the first time, May 30th. The pizza was ready when I went to pick it up at 6:20pm. The problem came when I got home and opened the box. The crust was burnt (crispy black) all the way around. I have had wood fired pizza before but black crust was not part of it and the crust on mine was black. I called to let them know at 6:30pm and got a recording. I left a message with my name and phone number. I still have not heard back. My expectations were to at least get a call back, something, but no. Owner called and I have had the same pizza with a completely different out come. My pizza was very good! The care and response given was exceptional, good service. With all that is going on I applaud the care and service that followed. Thank you for being the kind of business which cares about me...
