The only thing I like about this McDonald's is that they are open late. Other wise the visit was disappointing. I like the milkshakes at McD's but they didn't have it available even though it stares right at you on the drive up menu at first sight. So I got a caramel McCafe frapichino instead which was terrible w/big chunks of ice. But the worst thing was the customer service. My wallet had fallen under my seat, and I couldn't find it in time to pay at the moment, so I parked. When I did find it about 2 minutes later, I walked 10 feet back over to the window to pay and get my order. The original female employee who took the order looked at me and totally ignored me. I tapped on the window again and got no response from her who was only 3 feet away. First I thought maybe this was a safety protocol since I no longer was in my car, but she could have told me that instead of giving me the "I don't see you look". Seconds later another female employee came to the window and said what did you have? I told her, and she gave me that terrible McCafe drink and I waited for the 2 cheeseburgers and waited several more minutes. Another car pulled up, so I got in my car and pulled in to the drive up after the car that just got to the window. When I got to the window for the third time, she didn't even remember who or what I ordered. It took several more minutes for those 2 cheeseburgers. I never was out of sight of the the drive up window so they wouldn't have throw them in the trash, so why so long to get them. But the icing the cake was the cold frigid attitude from the 2nd female employee. Not pleasant at all, no memory skills, and definitely not any inclination on how to treat their customers. What's the difference between treating people differently based on their CLASS/INCOME BRACKET and treating people different based on their RACE..... Nothing I. deliver for door dash and Uber eats. And I do it on a bicycle. Just recently this location, the place where over 50% of my orders come from, decided that it was "UNSAFE" to continue serving those who do not own an automobile at the drive thru at night. My busiest delivery times are from 12am-6am. So that decision pretty much cut my income in half since they won't hand me my orders because I don't own a car. This is the definition of DISCRIMINATION. They were robbed by someone that was on foot in the drive thru. So now if you aren't in a car you are considered dangerous to McDonald's on ida and Lombard . Because someone in a car couldn't possibly rob them..... Straight up ignorance.!! What if they were robbed by a Canadian!?? Would they stop serving...
Read moreI had stopped coming to this locationFor a number of reasonsI recently decided to give it a shot again there is a woman sorry haven't caught her name she typically works early mornings when I gave visited it usually around 4-5am she is wonderful always greets you an sends you away with a smile however today was just sad the lady taking orders has no customer service skills first thing she said was "just to let you lnow" I ignored that part but the sad part was she lied twice started yelling for a manager I assumed that guy came to window also lied started getting loud refused to give me his name he said staff is not allowed to give there names to customers 🤔🤔 wow!!
