I'm two months late with this review. I treated my mom to dinner here. A first for us both. I'd like to first say that the service from our waitress was personable and attentive. She was very friendly. She recommended a drink that my mom did not like, but she tried to be a good sport. The waitress recognized this and replaced it. If I find the receipt, I'll update with her name. This was Feb 24th. The serving size of the salad was definitely a shareable size, so we did that and ordered sides. The ambiance was calm with soft lighting. It was a little dim for menu reading, but still a good vibe. The food was interesting and tasty....

We dined here on a Friday night with friends to celebrate our anniversary. As a non-drinker, I enjoyed the mocktail options and my partner had an IPA. Appetizers were tasty—although the butter that came with the bread was Incredibly salty. I tried the celery and olive salad. It was…odd. It had a lemon vinaigrette which overpowered the other flavors. My partner had the burger (the server never asked him how he wanted it cooked) and it was WELL done. Our friends had pasta which they enjoyed. We enjoyed the atmosphere. But for the cost of our meal, likely won’t return. We wish they had more options for people with...

What a feast! I had the most wonderful snacky dinner. Oysters, Gougères, tinned fish, an amazing oozy soft-boiled egg with crunchy bits and spicy/sweet jammy stuff on top (I don't know what it was, but I can't stop thinking about it), a big salad (v. generous with the toasted hazelnuts, thank you Old Pal), ice cream (POPCORN ice cream is amazing, did you know?), and sparkling wine. I wished I had a bigger stomach so I could have eaten more. The service was really warm and professional, and the space is super pretty and soothing. You've got to see the beautiful lamps above the bar. I cannot...

Get here as fast as you can before there are lines down the block - lovely space, lovely staff, the cocktails are creative, thoughtful, and most importantly very tasty (we tried 4 different), and every one of the 6 food items we ordered were delicious and worth coming back for. I can’t remember the last time I had oysters in Portland where the shells were properly cleaned - no shell fragments, super fresh on ice with sharp, creamy horseradish, lemon, and a lovely mignonette. Oysters as they should be (always) and a good price at their daily happy hour.

Spacious restaurant with modern interiors/vibe tucked away on a busy intersection of Belmont. No reservations but we walked in without issue on a Sunday night. While the pasta selection is limited, everything from apps to salad and the mussels were flavorful and done right. The fries (massive portion for two people) were decent but nothing to write home about. Would suggest getting a salad or other more interesting app instead (unless you just like fries, which is also understandable). Overall, a welcome addition to this stretch of Belmont.
