Panda Express — Restaurant in Portland

I wish that this location would just shut down for good. Parking is always difficult, and the customer service is terrible. Who is doing the hiring? And who is doing the training? Panda Express USED to be really great with a good reputation, but lately over the last few years it is just the opposite. Panda Express is NOW really awful with a very BAD reputation which is bad for business. The staff at this location is suddenly completely different. What happened to ALL the previous staff from just a couple of months ago? The current staff is sadly very incompetent. Terrible customer service. Employees Not paying attention to what customers are ordering and Not receiving what was ordered and asked for. They are NOT at all prepared for the lunch rush, they were out half of the dishes on the line. Portions are not what they used to be. Flavor is also not what it used to be. Over all a disappointing experience yet again. I don't think that management cares about the reputation of Panda Express or it patrons, because people complain but still continue to come back for more terrible service and terrible food, and the company continues to make money. That's what it's all about. As long as the company is making money, they are NOT interested in properly training their employees. People Need to boycott this location consistently, that's the only way to get the message across to the CEOs of the Panda Express Chain. I am clearly not the only one that has had unexeceptable experiences here, just read other people's posts. Why are people so willing to except bad behavior, bad custome service, and bad food? Stop going there people. They obviously aren't willing to make any changes to be better and do better. If they aren't getting any business than they aren't making any money. Why would people want to give this business establishment their hard earned money? Panda Express does Not...

So I just finished a hike out in the Gorge with all of my camera gear. There are homeless people begging at the entrance… so I don’t dare leave my pack in my car. I take it in with me… a guy sitting outside the door chowing on a box of panda express asked me if I could help… currently I’m unemployed and living off savings. “No, I really don’t.” I replied as it was truthful that I didn’t have cash.

I walk up to the counter and tell the worker I would like a bigger plate… 2x one item and the other can be on the side. She writes ‘all inside’ on the box. While I’m waiting for rice and chicken, the guy asks if I want to pay. “Sure” I said and asked for a medium soda. The cup had some oily liquid around the rim… I could see it glistening on the red paper. I ask if I can have another one. He checks and they all have the contamination. I ask if there were any other cups. He checks under the counter and pulls up the half bag of medium cups. These also have the contamination. I wasn’t thinking properly as I was pretty exhausted from the hike and just decided I would wipe it off. Over at the soda machine I grab a napkin and wipe the inside and outside of the cup… trying to get the contamination off the cup the best I can. I still, now as I write this, cannot believe I accepted a contaminated cup. After throughly wiping the cup and filing it my order was bagged and ready. I left.

Now after drinking from the contaminated cup my mouth is stinging and I hope to god it goes away soon or I am going to the hospital and will bill Panda Express for the visit. Proffering contaminated cups is unacceptable. I will also be filing a complaint with Panda Express...

I love Panda Express and have visited multiple locations previously, but this was the very first time coming here, and I WILL NOT BE BACK...The parking lot is an absolute nightmare/disaster!!! The parking can't even fit a compact car in a spot comfortably, without dooring another vehicle parked next to you, the Goodwill located in the same parking lot, there isn't enough parking spots in here for the businesses that are located here!!! You feel clostrophobic even after finding a spot and trying to walk in the strip mall and not feel cramped...I walk in, there isn't 1 person, there are 6 food servers with about 20 to-go boxes, talking to eaxh other, looking lost, i almost walked put, and said no, I will stay. I ordered, it took an additional 29 minutes for a bigger plate??? The container used for the rice/noodle mix, and orange chicken & Beijing Beef was like a childs size, I even asked, 'this is the bigger plate', to-go container, they said yes, paid my $7.40 with a free entree survey coupon included, it wasn't worth $4.00...It wasn't fresh, my portions usually fill me up, and I have half of it for leftovers, I took maybe 10 bites, including my free entree, and it was empty/gone... I will drive to my normal Panda Express next time in...
