Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Portland

I haven't ordered in a while because my husband and I have almost quit eating out because of quality issues. When we decided to get pizza a couple of days ago, I saw that Pizza Hut had a good deal on unlimited toppings. We decided to get two pizzas so we could each get one our own way and have leftover for weekend snacks. They were good pizzas overall, but I love bacon on my pizza, that is... when it's actually bacon and not globs of blubber. That is exactly what I got, chunks of fat. Before I could eat a slice, I'd have to sift through the toppings to pick off every bit possible. When adding toppings I know I did not choose "fat chunks"! Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've had this issue with your "bacon". The last time I ordered bacon (several months ago), it was the same fatty globs that I ended up picking off. I took a chance that maybe that had been a fluke. If that "bacon" product is the best Pizza Hut can find, then please take "bacon" off of your toppings menu. Replace it with "fat chunks" so at least we know what we are getting! Thanks for your time. PS. In my opinion, good pizza bacon is real bacon cooked crispy and crumbled. The type you'd get on a baked potato or good chef salad. If it's not good enough to eat by itself, then please don't put it...

Friday, March 11 Let me first start this review with saying that this has been the worst experience I've ever had at a pizza place. As we walked in to this Pizza Hut we didn't expect to have this kind of experience. We ordered our pizza and then we realized that the price of the two medium pizzas we ordered was very expensive. I then went online to the Pizza Hut website to check the deals they had. 2 medium pizzas with any toppings cost 6.99 each and what we paid for the same thing was twice as expensive. I then went back in to ask if I could swap my price with the price online and the cashier told me that those prices were only for people who ordered online. I then asked the cashier if I could cancel the order and get my money back. They ended up telling me that they could cancel the order but they would throw the food away and they wouldn't give me my money back. After that I gave up and just waited for my pizza which lasted 30 minutes. I told my son to go check on the pizza and he brought it back. I then told him to ask for some peppers and cheese and he came back telling me that they were asking for a dollar per cheese and pepper cup. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a pizza place. I recommend you never come to this Pizza Hut with...

I hate to be negative with a review but 4/4 orders placed from this location have had errors that I assumed at first came from potential miscommunication from customer to the kitchen within the online ordering process, I wrongly assumed that selecting “extra” the next time would in fact correct this the next three orders unfortunately did not produce the desired outcome as “extra” arrived less than “normal” every following time. On a positive note when I was lucky enough to have an order delivered from one of the store drivers the service was timely and thorough I especially love that Joey always brings cups, napkins, utensils, and plates every time as I can’t ever find where in ordering to ask for them.
