I've seen so many videos on social media about the coffees and desserts, so I decided to drop in one night after work! The cafe itself is so chic and inviting, and I loved seeing all the patrons inside just enjoying life and hanging out. I decided to get the baklava and biscoff cheesecake, and both items were AMAZING. The cheesecake literally melted in your mouth as ice cream would, hands down the best cheesecake I've ever had. Shaghf Cafe in Portland, Maine is an absolute gem! I made the hour-long drive just to check it out, and it did not disappoint. The Iced Pistachio Latte was a solid 9/10 — smooth, nutty, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. But the real star was the chocolate strawberries cup with chocolate and pistachio — an easy 10/10. Rich, decadent, and beautifully presented. Totally worth the trip on its own.

Visited here for the first time last night & will definitely be back! The baked goods, especially the mini tarts & cheesecake, are so creamy & delicious! The salted caramel coffee was palatable & their tres leches isn’t like traditional tres leches but it is the best we have found here in Maine.

The space itself feels and smells like home. Modern and clean but cozy and inviting. A great place to catch up with friends or get some work done. The staff is also exceptional!
