Shawarma Grill — Restaurant in Portland

Shawarma Express PDX is the original place that was located in downtown, they moved to Woodstock by Flipside bar. As always the food was very tasty and flavorful. The rice and meat was cooked right. Also, the portions of the regular platter are very generous as it also comes with pita bread. I personally love to have white, hot, and BBQ sauce on my platter. It's worth to try the hot sauce that they serve is probably the hottest sauce I've ever tried from any place. I mean one drop you can feel the heat.

The cost for the regular combo platter is responsible as of this writing. To be fair, the price is pretty reasonable considering the demand for the food here.

Sure, he could have enjoyed a more enjoyable experience. The chicken was too dry and the tzatziki was watery and inedible. Food wasn't the only unpleasant aspect of my Shawarma Express (Woodstock) experience as the guy running the food cart was quick and rude (making my family very uncomfortable). I've eaten here multiple times to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, but each time I was just disappointed in both the kitchen and the customer service. I will not support this work anymore. The Lamb gyro had pickles, which is very odd. It was very bad as I HATE pickles. The bread was tasteless. 90% was thrown out. The other meal was the Falafel Mezze plate. It was covered in green olives (why?) and very spicy pickled vegetables. The falafel was tasteless and pretty mushy, and the tzatziki and hummus were bland. The person who was to eat this meal can't eat spicy food and hates green olives. If any of these things had been listed, we would have ordered elsewhere.
