El Pato Feliz Jr — Restaurant in Portland

This full-sized blue bus, tucked back in a parking lot maybe easily missed by those driving by, which is a shame because these little, and inexpensive tacos, are yummy. I tried the carne asada, al pastor, chorizo and fish taco. All of the tacos were enjoyable except the fish taco was a little too... well... fishy for my liking. All of the other little tacos were nicely done. Perhaps a little too salty, but besides that were nicely flavored. I ordered a size of re-fried beans, which was huge, and also pretty salty. I like a blast of sodium so it did not bother me too much but if you are salt sensitive it maybe a little much. The salsas were excellent, I am a salsa fan and the sauce can make or break a place as far as I am concerned. The service was also excellent. The gentleman who served us was super sweet and welcoming. I also noted the clean kitchen, I expect any dining establishment to have a clean kitchen, but my standards flex a bit when I am being served out of a bus, but I was impressed with the cleanliness of this place. Floors and counter-tops were all clean and free of dust or food bits. I will be back for the $1.25 yummy little tacos....

Idk how anyone can dine-in there with how their restaurant smells...smells like it hasn't been cleaned in years. It's gross. Took a while to get my to-go order with only one other 3top in there. Not speedy at all. Only one cook in there at any given time. Wish I had read the reviews on service time. Dine-in only if you have xtra time or call in for take out. Not normal table service, more like hybrid counter service and she brings out your food to the table. Food is nothing to write home about and too expensive. $17 for a tostada plate w small side of fries ($20 w tip all together) but not really worth that.. but everywhere is inflated now. You hardley notice the just-ok food because the smell, terrible rubber ducky decor and half dead plants all around are such a distraction. All in all a pretty run down dump. I won't re-visit. I should've left after I walked in but the reviews said the food had great flavor. Just meh for me but tostada's aren't very fancy to begin with. You could find better quality, ambience and service at 100 other Mexican restaurants in SE Portland with legit...

The lady with the big obvious eyebrows NEEDS TO GO!!! I miss the sweet lady that used to work there. She would know us and know our order when we would come in. Now she is gone and we miss her!!! The lady with the big obvious eyebrows doesn't even bother to get to know us or our order and EVERY time she is there the food is poor quality, dry, the limes are dried up and don't have any liquid in them.. she gives us the smallest amount of chips possible and is just making it very hard to enjoy coming here. I said 5 stars for the food because it really is a great little hole in the wall spot to eat. Best al pastor tacos around!!! But I'm going to find out what days that lady doesn't work just so I can go there and enjoy my food from now on because when she works it's clearly not the standard they should be at.
