Sushi lover pdx (Hillsdale Sushi Cart) — Restaurant in Portland

I’ve been coming to this awesome sushi food truck for a long time and they never, ever disappoint.

The sushi is so fresh and so delicious. They customize your orders as needed, so even if you’re on keto, whole 30 or any other special meal plan/diet, they so graciously make it work for you and I’m so grateful!

Thandar, the owner, is amazing! She’s so sweet and super friendly! Her and her husband win a customer service award in my book. And I love how much warmth they put into their family business for their customers.

Someone else commented they take a long time with orders but this is simply not true. Just in case they get busy I’d recommend to call ahead. But it’s never taken me more than 10 minutes to get my order while dining in the food cart park, and always ready when I do take out.

The sushirito was good but the poke was great! I wished the rito was the cubed tuna not the minced. But my only complaint was that I asked for a 2 containers of spicy mayo and they gave me 1 microscopic container. 2 normal ramican sizes was all I needed to make 23$ worth of sushi more worth it in my opinion. Please don't skimp on a side of sauce, it really does make all the difference for some people like my saucy self. Charge if you must but it should be included at that...

Today only 3 stairs for the experience. The food is good but it is pretty rude to don’t warn up front about waiting time. I don’t have so much time on my lunch break to wait more then 30 min for food. I had to cancel my order after 20 min and I left my money and the tip for nothing behind and nobody even offer my money...
