This was our favorite sandwich shop. We used to go once or twice a week, that’s how much I loved it. After the first time going to the shop, every subsequent time after that my sandwich was messed up somehow. I blew it off as one offs and maybe lack of caring on workers behalf’s but after about two months, we are done. I have never changed my order once since starting to go to this place. Either ingredients are missing, or random ingredients added, or the sandwich is smashed. Very odd about the smashed sandwich like someone has anger issues and takes it out on the sandwiches. We’ve had about five smashed sandwiches. If we could just get the sandwich we ask for without Issues this would be 5 stars and we’d be asking you to take our money. Edit 5/30/2022: have been going back since Nov 2021 and everything has improved. Love the new kiosks and food order is never wrong anymore. Thank you!! Only critiques : online ordering should be more than 2-3 items because I typically order for two people and you know.. like chips and a drink, also sometimes beef is a little undercooked and have to pop it into the microwave. Other than that, LOVE this sandwich shop! Best in town. Amending from 2...
Read moreWe come here all the time but not again after today. Mind you, I dont ever write negative reviews so this was a particularly lame experience. Because we come all the time and usually get the TBLT with Dutch crunch bread, I decided to switch it up and get the philly and it repulsed me because it had a weird tasting cheese sauce that sogged up the bread and the sandwich was overall bland. I informed the lady at the register and asked nicely to switch it out for our regular but the person at the register immediately gave me some nonverbal cues that she was annoyed that I'd even asked and said I'd have to pay for another sandwich. We already paid 30 bucks for our meal that both my husband and I were displeased with (including the typical order he got he said was not as good as usual but whatever he ate most of it anyway.) It sucked that there wasn't a culture of making sure the customer paid for a meal they'd actually eat (and maybe even enjoy?!) I ended up throwing away a nasty $11.50 sandwich and went home hungry and am now writing this review. Not to mention I'm clearly pregnant, like how y'all going to let your pregnant regular customer...
Read more(very) DISAPPOINTING: I’d say, don’t waste your time. I live 3 blocks from this place and have now been here five (5) times only to see their window sign, “SOLD OUT.” Today (Sat, 7/27 @12:35) walked there again with a friend who said, “I’ve always wanted to try it.” Sounds good! But my reply included, “me too, but have only eaten there once (1) because they’re always sold out.
So: Saturday at 12:35 pm (lunch time, in my mind), and sold out again. So this means a ratio of eating 1:6. Not good and no thanks.
Here’s an idea. Bake more bread. Buy someone else’s bread. Have stuff to purchase. A thumbs down 👎🏼 for me, and my friend said (as have others I came with before), “Well I won’t go back.” I may try again, living 3 blocks away. BUT I don’t always plot and plan in advance for a nearby neighborhood lunch spot that I’d like to just walk to on a whim (i.e. hungry.) BUYER BEWARE. So many other good choices who actually have FOOD 🍞🥪🥙🍜🌮 to sell. I’d say it’s a flimsy operation, but...
