To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I've been eating here for past 2 years. I crave the no-dohs and came here so often thru nursing school that the regular employees recognized me. Came tonight with my family and while their food was good, mine wasn't. It was entirely new employees I've never seen, which I had no issue with. While my no-doh was being made I asked for fresh tomatoes on it. When the employee put them on, they were stringy like they were covered in literal snot and slime. When I pointed it out she said they'd been cut 2 days prior and I told her those were bad and I couldn't eat them. She asked if I wanted them off and I said yes. Her gloves were covered in the slime as she took them off and I should have said I wanted a new one. I'm not a confrontational person and wished she would have offered because I don't know how she wasn't disgusted by that. She never removed the container to throw the rest out either. I tried eating some of it but ended up throwing it away after 5 bites because it didnt taste right even after having them removed, probably from the residual slime left on the pizza. 20 minutes after I got home and I've since vomited and gotten super sick, probably from a combination of being grossed out and having eaten some of it. The rest of my family's food was great and before this I'd never had issues. I spend 60+ most times I come and it was honestly one of my favorite places to eat, but after this experience I probably won't be back. Having an employee not care that rotten food has touched something that someone is gonna consume and then not even throw the rest out after doesn't sit well with me and I was so grossed out I don't know if I'd want it again. It is partially my fault for not saying I wanted a new one, but I also didn't want to seem like a jerk. Being sick over it...
Read moreI have been there three times. The food (calzones and pizza) has been okay, but pretty salty and overpriced. The online ordering is quite cumbersome and usually messes up in one way or another. Each time, they have not given me the right amount of sauces. One time, they did not give me any.
The only reason I have ever gone there is because of the coupons they send in the mail. The first time, there was no problem using one. The second time, they neglected to give the money back even though I entered the coupon code online and they said they would credit me when I picked up the order. The third time, they refused to honor the coupon since it was an online order. I'm not sure what the purpose of allowing you to enter the coupon code online is if they won't honor the code for an online order. The coupon did not say for dine-in only, either.
I will not go back since they have cheated me in some form or another during each of my...
Read moreRapid Fired Pizza is one of if not the best pizza place in Portsmouth. Building your own pizza for about 8 bucks with any toppings you want on it is a good deal for the quality of pizza you are getting. Which is very good.
The average time to get the said pizza is about 10 minutes, which is one of their selling points but honestly regardless of time it's worth the wait. The staff has always been nice here and the building has been well kept. No complaints from that at all.
They also have a plethora of sauces to dip your food in which are always frequently filled and worth your time to try with your pizza or pepperoni sticks.
The only thing that is inconsistent here is the Pepsi machine. They are no where near the quality of Coke's but I'm going to blame Pepsi for this since it's always inconsistent.
Rapid Fired Pizza is a must try at least once for people driving through Portsmouth. You...
