New Tokyo Japanese Steak House — Restaurant in Powderly

Do not eat here. It was a horrible experience. When I first got there sat down at a table and no one came to get order. After several minutes, I went to get in line at the counter. There were multiple people there waiting also. Finally, one of the two person in line in front of me said to the lady walking back and forth; "I just need a box". The worker said "here you go sorry" then she looked at me. I told the other person who was ahead of me to go first. That person said "I'm still waiting for my order" . The worker said to her; "oh, sorry it will be a few more minutes. So that person said "I have to go I cannot wait any longer". Then came my turn, I said "We are just wanting to place an order. Do I do it here or at the table?" Worker said , "Oh , sorry" and pointed to the table. Then she handed us the menus and immediately asked "do you know what you want" We had not opened the menus yet. Then we ordered. I did not get the soup or salad that came with the meal. The worker came later much later and said; "excuse me , you did not get soup and salad" My wife said (cause i didnt understand the worker) my wife said no , he didnt get it yet. She left and I still never got the soup or salad that was supposed to come with the meal. As we were leaving , my wife said can we get some percentage off the bill as he didn't get his soup or salad? The worker said, oh no same price same price. You want it to go? We said "No, we won't be back". It was a horrible experience. I would suggest no one go to the New Tokyo Japanese Restaurant in Powderly, KY . It was not good. We were very disappointed. It is very sad that this is the "quality" of restaurant service. Very disappointing. We will not ever go back to this establishment. They should shut down...

Terrible place to eat. The pictures on the menu do not match what they serve. Then for appetizer they give you some weird salad with egg dressing and mushroom soup with no mushrooms it's more like a mushroom tea. Me and my fiance and her daughter went to eat there and they literally didn't even have half a plate of food on the plate when they served and it looked nothing like it was depicted the shrimp was rubbery the waiter was rude and we left their immediately after the waiter started getting an attitude with us about asking why false...
