Very average, not as expensive as something like Shogun of Owensboro, but it also doesn't compare in any other regard and the food is not worth the prices. Small portions and every food item my table received was near room-temperature, from the General Tso's Chicken to the Godzilla Roll and even the Hibachi, it just was very underwhelming. Couple that with high-school students running the front end, forgetting which tables to take orders to and for some reason taking 5+ minutes between drinks (half the table received their drinks later than the first half), but they at least attempted to be courteous and polite. The decor did not match what is to be expected from a "Japanese" restaurant, looking more like an Americanized seafood restaurant instead, very bizarre choice.
If you want better Japanese food in Muhlenberg County, go to Tokyo over in Central City. If you want better food overall, go to another...
Read moreMe and my boyfriend have gave our business many times, but I’m not sure that we will anymore. The hibachi is okay and the sushi is good but the portions are way to small for the price. The prices went up shortly after they opened, and yesterday was probably my final time. It’s already bad enough that you have to pay for soup and salad separate from the hibachi meals, unlike Tokyo, Wasabi, or Shoguns. I ordered the Spicy Kani (Crab) Salad. Price is $6 over the phone or $7 online. Not the best price, but not the worst either until you see the size. Pictured below is the salad I paid $6 for. Not worth it at all. The container is so tiny. Will not recommend anymore unless changes are made in the future. I try to support local but in this instance...
Read moreEmpty place on a Monday at 1400. Walked in and was told to sit anywhere that I wanted to. Place was manned by 1 employee. Waited about 10 minutes until they came to ask for our drink order and gave us menus. Another 15 minutes roll by and he takes our order. About 20 minutes or so our food is brought to the table. (The employee did their job and was attentive to us.) Now, the food was horrible. I ordered the chicken hibachi, and the rice was overcooked and so was the chicken. The wife and daughter ordered yakisoba and steak. The noodles for this meal smelled like they were soaked in olive oil and again the chicken was overcooked. First time here and I'm...
