Every time we have been here it’s just the best food for the best prices and every time I go I’m surprised by something else I tried that was even better or just as good as what I had the last time I live all the way out in Beechmont so it’s not the easiest for me to get there but I wish that place was right next-door cause I swear I would eat there every single morning for breakfast and that ain’t no joke that place is seems personally owned and they take a lot of pride in it and you can go to Burger King and get two croissants for four bucks or whatever And it’s not even compared to the one croissant that they sell that’s huge on Hawaiian style as a croissant which I’ve never seen before so just to sum it up this place got it going on if you ain’t been there and you live in Muhlenberg County you are definitely missing a treasureof a place, and the prices are outstanding and the service is just top-notch they deserve 10 stars in my book best place in Muhlenberg County and it’s a bakery of all things but boy do they know how to bake it up lol but I look for reviews like these today to get an idea of where I’m gonna go eat because some places might be good but the people that work there just don’t take pride in it and it shows but apparently he’s got it going on I wish I lived next-door to that damn place I swear hopefully I’ll be seeing y’all soon getting ready now to come up there the also serve breakfast all day I never did ask that I didn’t even know y’all were open till 2pm till just now but...

We are staying on Lake Malone nearby for vacation. After four days of not leaving our rental property except to fish we decided to venture out. We had heard Powderly Donuts had great donuts. We got to town a little late (we are on vacation so no alarm clocks). They were out of Kolaches due to our late arrival. We may go back to try those because they are something we have never had before. The donuts were amazing and the service was outstanding. They were only doing drive up and with three kids that meant a little bit of decision time. Haha. They were patient, kind, and friendly. Our eleven year old who doesn't eat sweets (I know... How does a child not like sweet food right?) said she would eat the donut holes everyday if she could. The two younger kids loved their filled donuts. The consensus in our family was these are better than that one famous "hot now" chain that everyone, including Dad, always have to stop at. The donuts are light and airy. First doughnut shop I've been to in years.

Their doughnuts are fantastic! And the best thing??? They fill your eclairs when you order them! All the way full! And let's not forget the doughnut holes that were added to my order for free!

I am more than impressed with this place. I hate that I can only give them 5 stars because the quality and service I received was worth at least 10!

Go there. Go often. This place...
