Shane's Rib Shack — Restaurant in Powdersville

Shane's rib shack is where you go to bring your family after baseball or worshipping at church. You immediately are immersed in to the atmosphere of deeply smoked riched BBQ. You are greeted at the door with friendly faces whose smiles provide a warm welcome. After pouring over the menu you will see that the BBQ starter plate is the best option for begginners. It includes pulled pork, crispy chicken, two sides and a drink. After 20mins, your food is delivered to your table. You are able to dig right in to the most delicious BBQ. While you are eating you would have to be in a state of madness if you did not venture out to try the delicacies that is within their sauces. I have found myself, consistently exploring their obtrusive yet subtle flavors. Mixing and matching is the best way to enjoy the BBQ or the side of sweet potato fries, which are crunchy and lightly salted. The family atmosphere makes you feel welcome wether you eat with your hands or with utensils. If you know how to eat ribs with utensils, please let me know, it isn't half as fun without having sticky fingers. I hope this powdersville joint continues to keep excelling in what they do. If I am looking for BBQ or I am in the mood for some quality ribs, Shane's is the place to go. I am looking forward to more experiences and venturing out to their exhaustive menu. I want to try the peach cobbler. It looks mouth watering and delicious. If we need food to survive, then make it delicious. This is something that I think Shane's does well. Well first of all I can only say that I have never tasted more vile food then I did when we ordered from here. First of all half of our order was missing. Attempted to call the store 12 times and NOBODY knew how to pick up a phone and say hello. I called first thing the next day and asked for a manager and the young girl said she was out on a catering delivery. I left my name and phone number and asked for a call back. This never happened. Apparently it is okay to take almost 100$ from a customer and then choose to not fulfill the order and serve the most disgusting food in the world. Which by the way I want to say thank you because my 78 year old mother ended eating an apple that night because your food made her sick. First of all the cole slaw that everyone gives you amazing reviews about was hot. Not warm but hot. We ordered pulled chicken and never got it. The ribs were cold, greasy and had a very off taste to them. The cobbler was a liquid white paste that almost resembled caulk. As I said half the order was forgotten so thank God we couldn't taste anything else. It literally all went right into the trash. This is not something I would be proud of to have left my kitchen. So no customer service, order was wrong and incomplete, BUT you got 87$ from me. Well I called my bank, and you will be getting a charge back. I don't know who the owner is but I suggest you close your doors for good. The thing that really irks me the most NOBODY could pick a damn phone and call me back. Today was my first Shane's Rib Shack experience. DoorDash delivered lunch in excellent condition. We ordered the SHANIAC Burger and a couple of pork sandwiches, fries, Coke, and a brownie.

If you are having trouble deciding between a plush pulled pork sandwich or a juicy cheeseburger, Shane's will simplify your life!

The Shaniac Burger is a 1/2 lb. tasty cheeseburger complemented with a massive amount of tender pulled pork and delicious coleslaw. We ordered this as a combo meal, with golden brown fries and a thirst-quenching Coke!

Value-wise, this was a perfect choice. Satisfaction-wise, it was insanely EXCELLENT! It was too much to eat all at once, and I was hungry going in! Thank you, SHANE'S for NOT SKIMPING on ingredients and quality! They packed in plenty of pleasantly sweet pickle chips in the mix. I didn't even request extra pickles. It's just Shane's Rib Shack founder's policy to "give people more than what they pay for and treat everybody like family."

The pulled pork sandwiches were also wildly satisfying! I am from Memphis, TN, and WE KNOW GREAT BBQ! Ladies and gentlemen, THIS IS GREAT BBQ!! The coleslaw was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The fries were hot, perfectly-salty, and went very well with the Shane's BBQ Sauce for dipping!

Last, but not least, the brownie reminded me of the deep-chocolate fresh-baked brownies my grandma used to treat us with when I was a kid. So chocolaty! So soft and moist! I hope they will sell a FULL SIZE version! LOL!
