This visit at Chick fil a was quite disappointing and triggering. My spouse and I were driving from Atlanta to North Carolina and decided to stop at this chick fil a on the way to our destination.
We ordered chicken strips (among other things) They came out cold so we attempted to hand them back to the cashier and ask for fresh ones. The cashier reached for them then remembered that he couldn’t take food back, asked us to pull up, and let us know that the food would be brought out.
Another associate came to our car and let us know it would be 5 minutes before fresh tenders were done because they did not have any (clear sign that they gave us the bottom of the barrel initially) so we waited. Moments later, the same associate came back out and shared that her manager said that we couldn’t get fresh strips unless we gave back to others.
Shockingly, for me, as a long time patron and former employee of Chick fil a, as I’m very familiar with policy. We were clearly told that they couldn’t not take the food back, but now the manager wants it. I decided to go inside and speak with the manager personally.
I re-explained the situation and let him know that it sound as if though he was insinuating that we wanted free food. Not every Black person is looking for a freebie or is looking for an opportunity to get more. We only wanted what we paid for, nothing more. It’s obvious that this manager went outside of policy to ensure that he spewed any amount of racism he could. Unfortunately for him, we’re well educated and know how to leverage our resources. I will never visit this chick fil again and I will be following up Monday morning with a call to their operator and general manager.
This was a disgusting representation of chick fil a, this manager needs to be addressed, and bias training needs be revisited. I don’t appreciate it and no one else should have to experience it either.
Date of visit 7/22/23, Time: 9:54pm, Manager description: white guy, likely late 20’s, about 5’4, wearing a purple collar shirt and...
Read moreOk y'all....This is going to be a tough review but hold on .... but something has to be done!!! It was so bad u don't deserve one star. The nighttime crew at this chic fila is Horrible!!!! You built a million dollar restaurant and updated it with a 2 drive thru that at night you want to go down to one lane and then ask us to pull up just for a gallon of sweet tea!! NO .NO I WILL NOT PULL UP ANYMORE!!! see the vehicle in front of us with their 4 drinks and two big ole bags didn't have to pull up but we did and when we finally put our foot down on NOT pulling up the manager has the ordaticte to say we don't have to serve you then if you don't pull up!! Um ma'am it is 7:15 at night and you are allowing your store to go ahead and start shutting down and breaking down...NO Ma'am...... See you should always keep a gallon of sweet tea on hand...but you didn't and the young lady called into y'all, you should have started the tea right then and there.....and Excuse Me, but the manager on duty tonight needs to go back to manager school it's called drive thru for a reason if I wanted to wait, id walked inside, now if y'all weren't worrying about breaking things down and be more concerned about customer service this would not had happened....but the whole time YOU the manager was arguing with us to pull up when in all reality we all have the right to sit in line and then get treated with the upmost respect and you did not do that in fact while you were bashing us to say you would not serve us if we did not pull up ..bamb here comes our gallon of tea....we all get our turn in line manager lady and how about being prepared instead of saying pull around!!!? P S. When did chic fila settle for less than the best for customer service and having managers that pretty...
Read moreI stopped by this location on my way home from my Dr's appointment in Greenville with my teenage daughter. We were both craving Chick Fli-a nuggets 😋 so we looked for the next chick flia exit off of the interstate. This was our destination. I just wanted to hop on here and give my experience and give a shout out to the owner which is Chad Saxon for training his staff members. Our cashier was Kevin. Very nice kid & staff.. Everyone there who was working pitched in and was waiting on all of the customers, us included.. We didn't have to throw away our trash,, it was done for us.. We were greeted as we walked in and out the door.. Dining area was super clean. We will definitely return after my next Dr appointment..This location is very popular with teenagers from what I could see and possibly some college students as well. I think I was the only adult 😅 in the dining room. Of course I got stared at like I wasn't cool to be sitting with the younger crowd of kids. 😆...I felt comfortable and I was okay. I didn't take it personally or offensive like most do. I'm a big girl 😆.. Anyways I highly recommend this location if you are in the area or if you live there. I'm from the Anderson area. I looked for a comment card but I wasn't able to find one. They use to be on the tables after each customer leaves, its replaced with a new comment card. I'm just curious if they stopped doing this...They should bring it...
