Pizza Hoss in Powell — Restaurant in Powell

1st, we love Pizza Hoss food. The food is always excellent. However, tonight, we didn't even get to experience the food. First, we arrived before 8. The waitress, Madison, came to take our drink order for the 3 of us but didn't give us any menus. Then, she came back to the table because she forgot what my daughter ordered and still didn't have menus. After we got our menus, we ordered 3 small pizzas, cheese bread and 2 salads. The salads and cheese bread came out quick but the waitress delivered it to the table next to us. Then, picked it up from their table and brought it to us, without saying a word. After that, we waited for almost an hour and we STILL did not have our pizzas. After inquiring about where thwy were, the waitress offered a "oh, i didn't even notice. Let me check." She went to check and said "they are working on it." No, I am sorry or anything. After waiting another 15 mins, I asked for the manager. The manager apologized and said they would get the pizzas out soon. We explained that at this time we had been waiting an hour and 20 min for our dinner while every one around us had already eaten. We asked her to box the pizzas up when they came out. The manager then delivered our check to us and proceeded to hand us a 20% off coupon for the next visit. Are you kidding me? She didn't even offer to take ANYTHING off the bill. AND, the part that really burns me up, the waitress NEVER apologized for not putting our order in. Needless to say, I did not too. THEN, as we were getting in our car, the waitress came to the door and glared at us like we had done something wrong! It took all of my constraint to not go let that entire store know what a HORRIBLE job of customer service they just did. If only the waitress had apologized. So, essentially, I just paid $46 for 2 drinks, a water, 2 salads, and cheese sticks....and had to take our food home and put it in the fridge because it was 9:30 & we were no longer hungry for pizza from waiting around. Food is usually deliscious...but the service...

DON'T GET THE SALAD!!! ANY OF THEM. Bare with me this may be long(ish) Decided to stop here for pizza tonight for a quick dinner and it was really anything but that... we ordered 2 med pizzas a salad 10pc wings and 2 drinks. I arrived at 615, ordered very shortly after arriving because I knew what we wanted (lets say 620), my salad showed up "almost" immediately and then my drinks shortly after then around 6:55 i got my pizzas ans they ended up forgetting about my wings and had just put them in so i ended up getting my food and leaving at 7:15. And most other customers were just there for drinks or had shown up after me. Some of which had food served to them before I had gotten mine. All in all 1 hour isn't TO crazy. But no reason it should take that long. NOW TO WHY ILL NEVER BE BACK!!!! I had not eaten anything all day. And I ordered myself the salad to eat before the pizza, I was the only one in my family to eat it, and that's all I ended up eating because u got full. Roughly 1 hour after eating it i got extremely ill and puked up absolutely every last bit of that salad. Fast forward to later tonight (the same day we got the order) I find out my friends husband has gotten sick every. Single. Time. He's eaten the salads there. (She doesn't eat the salads and has always been fine)

I genuinely feel like they aren't storing vegetables properly, or there is some cross contamination happening. But it ruined my whole night. And banana peppers 😒 My family said the pizza was good and they haven't puked....so there's that....

Whole heartedly recommend going here if you’re in the mood for great food in an amazing atmosphere! All around it will meet expectations, if not exceed them! We are huge “foodies” in our house and we rarely like to venture out of our favorite “spots” but when Pizza Hoss was re-opened with the new owners, we knew it was a must-try And boy are we so glad we did!! While dining recently (the last 24 hours lol) we got the unfortunate experience of witnessing other customers partake in completely disrespecting not only the establishment but the actual OWNER, herself!! I would like to state that if you plan to go here, or any restaurant for that matter, go in with an open mind, regardless of how many times you’ve been previously! This industry is always changing. Wether that be menu items, ingredients or staffing changes! Be kind. There is absolutely zero reason to call an owner of a company a “B**ch” and speak to them in such a degrading manner, simply because you were wrong about a menu item. We felt, and feel horrible for the owners for having to have dealt with such a cruel customer, especially when they have always been literally two of the most genuine and sincere people I’ve ever met! So.. with that being said, if you’re in the mood for delicious food, cold beer, great hospitality and comfortable atmosphere that is also family friendly.. please do yourself a favor and dine in at Pizza Hoss in Powell!
