Cocina y Tienda Mexicana — Restaurant in Tennessee

Edit: I had to lower the score after dealing with the delivery a second AND a third time. The second time a main course was missing and when I called to let them know, the language barrier was so lost in translation that I ended up hanging up and cutting my loss.

The third and what will be the final time ordering from this establishment, Both dinner combinations were missing items plus the sides that we ordered and payed for was missing as well. Also, they drenched the enchiladas in sour cream even though I asked for red sauce.

I'm leaving the original post to show the inconsistency that this establishment provides. I no longer suggest this establishment. If you're craving Mexican food, there's a plethora of Mexican restaurants in Knoxville and I'm sure they are much better.

My wife and I had never tried Uber Eats, so since she just returned from overseas, we decided to give it a try. We were both in the mood for Mexican cuisine, so we started pursuing the app.

Most of the restaurants that we looked at were $5-$10 more per main than what they were when you actually dined in, then my wife said, "Hey isn't this the place you always say you want to try when we drive past it?". It was and the place was Cocina y Tienda Mexicana!!!

The prices, even on the Uber Eats app were super good deals. We ordered three mains, Arroz Con Camaron, Picadillo and Super Mariachi Special. All three were phenomenal in taste, Abundant in size and came with plenty of tortillas, chips and salsa!!!

Absolutely nothing bad to say about this food; it was incredible!!!! I look forward to actually visiting the establishment and trying more of their fantastic food!!! 10 out of 10. I highly...

A la Madre!!! Muy muy Perfecto! I stopped in to grab a couple tacos Al pastor with hot salsa and man did they deliver!!! The tacos were loaded up with cilantro and onion. Fresh is an understatement. The price was under $10 dollars. The salsa was on point and hit the spot. By far the best bang for your buck on Clinton Hwy! The staff spoke English very well and were so polite and inviting. They sell beer although I didn't purchase any, but they have a large selection of bottled beverages including Jarritos. They have 3 tvs mounted on the walls each showing sports. If you're thinking of giving this place a try, absolutely do it. The food, service, and price were all absolutely amazing. The chicken taquitos were amazing and my mouth has been craving them since I had it. The Enchilada Mexicanos had the most amazing flavor. We saw their sign for their Taco Tuesday and ha d to take home tacos to try, we tried 4 diff meats and each one was abso delicious. The side of rice was big enough to share and perfect.
