Okay. I do love caffetteria or at least the idea of it, so I’ll still give them a 4, but this has happened too many times not to share. Every single time I’ve gone here they forget something on whatever dish I’ve ordered. When you charge what they charge, you just can’t forget key ingredients (or any ingredients).
Cobb salad is a $17 salad - it’s marked at $16 but usually not enough dressing so I paid an extra dollar for a tiny little container of extra dressing. They forgot the avocado, arguably a key ingredient. They’ve forgotten bacon in the past. They’ve forgotten egg in the past. They’ve forgotten something on nearly every menu item I’ve tried.
Overpriced. Food is good, not great. Nothing too remarkable for the price point. It’s a cute place, though. Vibes are good. I like the idea of it. There aren’t too many places that are healthy fast casual in the area so it’s nice to have the option, but it’s annoying to have to check every time to see if they remembered the key ingredients.
Green goddess dips and chips - fab.
Hummus - no pita bread available.
Variety of sandwiches - good but nothing special.
Variety of plates - great idea, comes out a little lackluster.
Pb&j toast - ugh it is delicious but ordered this for a toddler, and I had to scoop off a layer bc there were full peanuts layered on the top of it and it was served on a very seed-filled bread - both of which most young toddlers can’t quite handle yet. My bad for not asking for a full description of it.
Breakfast items - pretty good.
Pizzas - delicious.
Bakery - great.
Coffee - pretty amateur. Not great at making lattes or specialized drinks from their menu. And why is a not so great mocha $8?
It’s fine. It’s cute. They forget important ingredients often and charge a lot for pretty standard food. If you need something after you’ve ordered, good luck finding someone to help you. Oh a positive here - if you order a salad chopped it is very perfectly chopped. And decent effort and options for gluten free. I’m sure I’ll be back, and you should go too. Like I said, the vibes are good, the branding is cute, but lots of simple sloppy mistakes made at a price that’s a little too high...
Read moreThe Colorblock room was beautiful and it was the perfect space for my soon to be daughter-in-law’s brunch bridal shower. Taylor, you guided, advised and produced the perfect setting. You are a good communicator and were quick to respond to my emails and met all my expectations. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! We enjoyed everything. The food was beautiful and delicious-just the right amount too. John is a very talented and creative chef. The charcuterie/grazing board was just as delicious as it was beautiful. Chia raspberry pudding, avocado toast, overnight oats, feta whipped honey with pomegranate, apricot cheddar cheese, baklava, morning chocolates, salami, and so much more-make with the care and attention of someone creative and pays attention to detail. Oh and breakfasts pizzas-delicious! Coffee and tea bar and of course a mimosa station. The space was perfect for the 12 of us. And the balloon arch-a BIG thank you, Taylor, for helping us out that up. It was so pretty against the already colorful and springy color block wall. The pictures we took in front of it turned out great. Shout out to Blake too. He helped us project a fun interactive video on the smart tv in the room. He also made sure we had everything else we needed. Thank...
Read moreMet my mom here for brunch. I got the sunrise bowl. It was incredibly filling. We also split an apple fritter. It was perfect. I guess if I'm paying $3 for an apple fritter, it better be perfect. This one was. I had an americano and it was good. I like americanos because they should taste the same everywhere. They gave it to me in a "here" mug and I love that. It came with a little saucer. I felt so fancy.
My mom got the veggie pizza and said it was the best veggie pizza she ever had. I ate the leftovers a couple days later and can vouch for it. It was really good leftover too. The crust was amazing. Chewy, but not in an obnoxious way. I would definitely get the pizza again.
The bowl was very filling. I wanted a slice of my moms pizza but I was stuffed after the bowl. Everything was very fancy. It came with unagi sauce.
The prices were a little high, but this place is a little high on the classy side.
It's set up for lots of small groups or a place to eat by yourself. Lots of counter space if you needed to work or...
