Euston Hardware — Local services in Prairie Village

I have been a happy customer of Euston for over 40 years-several of my children even worked there. On 9/21, We attempted to rent an aerator from Euston Prairie Village. The young man who loaded the machine into our car, placed 2 weights under the wheels of the machine - he seemed to know what he was doing - as we pulled away the aerator rolled backwards and shattered the back windshield. As a business owner one would think the store would admit to their error and compensate us accordingly. Unfortunately, not so. As with most of Prairie Village this store clings to its quaint mid-twenth-century charm and what it may lack in a logical floor plan or vast selection it more than makes up for in customer service. This small hardware store serves the local area and homes that were also built primarily in the '50 and '60, and so caters to having the parts and solutions needed for those homes.
