The food here is really excellent. I enjoyed it so much I forgot to take pictures! From what I could tell, it is mostly / all home made. They definitely remove the skins from the chickpeas before blending them into the hummus, which makes a big, positive difference IMO. The baba ganoush and the tzadziki were also excellent, and step above what is often available. My wife and I were even impressed by the quality of the olive oil on the table which, when mixed with the za'atar proceeded as a starter made a really great dip (za'atar-wu-zayt). My wife thought the hummus and the baba ganoush were a little short on tahini, but we agreed that's really a matter of taste and they were both good. My wife had a steak kabob and the meat was very tender and perfectly cooked. I had the gyro and it, too, was fabulous. This was a real, and very unexpected find. We found this little gem in Geismar today while looking for a Mediterranean/Greek restaurant closer to our house. Can’t believe we’ve lived here a year and didn’t know about it! The server, Molly, was fantastic, and every bite of food right down to the creamy, amazing hummus was incredible! We’re pretty picky, as we lived in Detroit for a year and we know good Mediterranean food. This place EXCEEDED our expectations and will for sure be a new favorite for us. The portions were huge and although the menu was a little pricey, we definitely felt like we got what we paid for. I had the chicken shwarma plate…the rice, hummus and shwarma were exceptional. Moe’s is a new business but their establishment is as if they have been successful and in business for years! The food was delicious, I mean all of it! Me and my friends bought a little bit of everything and I can confidently say there was not a weak fish we tried. Not to mention the friendly service. The waitress and the cook were very friendly and grateful for our patronage and I was definitely grateful for their service. We ordered a lot of food and they still came out with our food super quick! I highly recommend checking them out, really good food...
