Adrienne's Downtown Bar — Restaurant in Prattville

The night started out well enough. Good crowd good music and generally a good atmosphere. As we wanted to leave though the Male bartender actively ignored myself and the entire side of the bar. As we waited for about 5 minutes I became aggravated and tried to get his attention. He looked right at us and served someone who just came to the bar and then helped him with his check. After that slightly more aggravated I whistled loudly to again try and show that there were several people by me who were waiting for service. Well after all that I decided to venture out and go find the owner. I found him and he was very apologetic and offered to cover my check which I said wasnt needed I had no problem paying my bill I just wanted to go. As I get back my girlfriend d had finally flagged this guy down and he had come over I he got our check and came back with the bill. No problem, but instead this guy who had now wasted about ten minutes of my time decided to play keep away with my credit card and check. By this time I am furious and decide that I will not be tipping him and crumple the check up and throw it on the bar and tell him no tip. This guy then starts to throw insults at me saying things about my shirt (like I actually cared about his thoughts on my clothing choice and wore it to impress him or something) and then became very confrontational and wanted to fight and screamed get out of my bar just as the owner had walked up behind him and pulled him away. I never said anything after no tip but this guy just wanted to act like he was in fifth grade again and insult me. I have very rarely had an experience as poor as this. Which is sad because I do go to Adrains at least once or twice a month. I dont know if I will be returning after thay experience. That bartender tried to publicly humiliate me by insulting clothing and throwing childish jeers at me. I hope the owner will handle the problem and find another employee with the maturity and temperament to work in a social industry. Nice place, great layout, however as new to town we entered to rude stares and not one single hospitable HI..and we arent off the wall people, we were nicely dressed, not trouble and big spenders....ordered 2 drinks at bar and tipped $20 thinking bartender would maybe begin to acknowledge us two sitting in couch area. NOPE, she continued to close over an hour b4 closing even locked us in. She passed us about 10x as she put chairs up and prepared for closing but mostly vaping and on her phone intently. She NEVER once looked up to say hi, bye, leave, thank you for tip, can I get yall anything????? I've traveled all over our country and brag about the South yet this was a MAJOR disappointment. I own my own restaurant and bar in Florida and it saddened me the potential of the place as I wondered where the owners were and do they have a clue as to what their staff is doing. Not much to choose from here that's smoke free but this one here that we sought out and went out of our way for....yeah...
