I stopped at Cindy’s for a random lunch with zero expectations and I didn’t even read any reviews. This is pretty much what you should expect from a small town dinner. Nothing fancy but you can see lots of local influences in the place. The lunch menu was really small with your standard meat and 3 side options as well as a few sandwiches and a burger. I love small menus because the places with small menus tend to cook everything well because they know what they are cooking. I decided to try a good old fashioned bacon cheeseburger. My expectation was a thin frozen patty so I ordered the double. That was my mistake. I say that in a nice oops sort of way. When the burger came out the patties were super thick and they looked hand formed. I was already enjoying my lunch because the waitress was super nice but seeing the burger really got me excited. I could barely hold the burger in one hand and it took a bit of effort to get a proper bite (that’s a good thing, take notes other places). A single patty would have been plenty but I didn’t let that stop me from enjoying the entire burger😁. The fries that came with it were perfectly cooked crinkle fries and the entire lunch really took me back in time. The fact that it was cheaper than going to McDonalds didn’t hurt either. I will say that the patties were a bit over cooked but that’s my personal preference, I like my burgers medium to medium rare. I’m really looking forward to my next visit, I think it will be to check out...

This was my first time eating here with my family. I was so excited to try the chicken and dressing but my chicken was cold and hard to chew and the dressing was sour the gravy on it was also sour.. the cranberry sauce was not sweet it tasted like vinegar..also the mash potatoes I ordered tasted like someone added cold water to them to have extra so they wouldn’t run out... in other words my potato’s were cold. And not cooked all the way it tasted like someone put potatoes in a pot and added cold water and no butter… and served it to me.. I was very upset I didn’t ask for any more food because I had such a disappointment on almost all my food..the macaroni and cheese was very good.:) I don’t know if I’ll be back..if you go get the macaroni and cheese it was good.:) other than that my meal wasn’t good..Cindy’s cafe needs to do better about the temperature of their food I pray I...

Love home Town diners and meeting spots! Lots of options but I had meat and two, with banana pudding. All excellent. Fried okra like momma makes. Corn bread WITHOUT sugar as the good Lord intended. Greens! I had the chicken and dressing. Really good. I understand they have to strike a balance for the most customers so I'll forgive the lack (to my taste) of poultry seasoning.

A little hole in the wall that we did miss the first time around the block but the old adage definitely applied: look for the full parking lot where the police cars, utility trucks, work crews and everyone else are.

You can't beat the prices. In this day and age where you can't feed fast food to two under $30. We both ate our fill and were full on...

Wanted a small town café experience… Stopped by Cindy’s in Prattville, Alabama. I was not disappointed! Retro cafe atmosphere. Personal and friendly. Many people eating… most seemed like locals. Had the opportunity to get a picture with Cindy. Had a very good meal at an extremely reasonable price. A large portion of fried okra and fried shrimp and cornbread. Even included dessert… I chose blackberry cobbler. All of this and a drink 10 bucks including tax. Enjoyed a very nice view of Autauga Creek while there. Definitely a place to visit for the memory.

Oh my goodness! Yummy! The guy in the hardware store recommended this place for lunch. He said that everything was good. He was so right! We both had the meat & two. Mine was hamburger steak & his was chicken fingers. Veggies were good but the outstanding ones were the black eyed peas and fried okra. The price was good at $7.99. Oh yes, that includes drink & dessert. I recommend the apple cobbler but he really liked the peach cobbler better. We have found our new Meat & two!
