I'm a driver for Waitr and we deliver orders from our partner restaurants to the residents, visitors, and businesses in the surrounding area. Today I had an order Today's deliveries sent me into Elliano's for my very 1st visit ever (for business or pleasure) and the staff was just wonderful in helping to keep the patrons of both Ellianos and Waitr very satisfied by going above and beyond to provide the specific requests added to a customer's order. The willingness to assist and the smiling face were the perfect way to overcome the frightening heat and overworked feeling of traffic on Labor Day in Alabama. The only thing that out shined the smiles of the staff was the amazingly immaculate prep and storage area of the very chic and modern building. Just amazing. My fiancé and I love Elliano’s because of their “guilt free” option, which is great because my fiancé has diabetes. The problem is that every time we ask for guilt free for his order, it’s a gamble whether he will get it that way or not. There are always different people working whenever we go and 9 times out of 10 the coffee is not guilt free, even though we specifically ask for it and comment that he is type 1diabetic and can’t have the sugar and regular milk. It has become a problem just trying to get a cup of coffee because we never know if it’s going to spike his blood sugar or not. If employees cannot understand how to make coffee as ordered then they shouldn’t be making coffee for people. The option is great for people with health issues or people who just don’t want the sugar, but you are not guaranteed to get what...

I worked here for some time last year and it's great! I've started to come by often before work now and I never have an issue with my freezers. Typically the staff are all good, there's some new faces and all. Today one of them was talking about my order to the other baristas as if it were strange or something... I just wanted less ice in my freezer (even if it produced a smaller amount.) I heard her say "she literally wanted --- and I said, uhh, okay..." I kindly let her know she could be heard through the window and she only responded with "okay have a nice day." But I still think Ellianos deserves five stars...
