We live next door to this Culvers and decided to walk over for lunch today around 2pm. As usual the service was great, food was great. I do have a complaint on the beverages, I always get the sweet tea, but lately its not very sweet. But most of all, at least 50% of the time...it's out. Today they had it, until I went to refill. So I asked about it, she said they'll bring some right out...never happened. So I had to toss my cup and leave with no re-fill. My biggest complaint of today's visit, is that half way through our meal, a staff member brings out a full sized corded loud vacuum and proceeds to vacuum the entire restaurant. Moving table and chairs 6 feet away while we are trying to eat and converse with one another...absolutely absurd. That type of vacuum should never be used during business hours. A Sweep Broom should be the only option used while customers are paying good hard earned money to eat out. We tried to treat ourselves to a good lunch today and it was ruined. I probably won't return to this Culver's for quite some time, if at all. The last complaint I have is that, at the end of our meal, I ordered 2 kids meals to go. To bring home for our daughters, luckily we checked the bags before we left, as one bag was missing the fries.
The sweet tea, the missing fries...stuff happens, I can get over it. That's not enough to make me not come back. But the vacuum...really ticked me off. That literally ruined our visit, making me not want to return. Come on Culver's....you're better than this.
Update: The owner of this Culvers just called me to "apologize" for what happened. Sorry Aaron, that was just as bad as our visit to your establishment. He did apologize, but most of the time told me a long story about why he HAD to vacuum that day.
THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR RUNNING A POWERED VACUUM DURING BUSINESS HOURS IN A RESTAURANT!!
You're supposed to chose the people who just paid their hard earned money...and are CURRENTLY sitting in your restaurant...over some crumbs on the floor...that can WAIT. Or, as I mentioned before....a sweep broom. Every restaurant in the WORLD has at least one. A sweep broom will pick up the bulk of the larger crumbs to satisfy anyone, until you CLOSE, and run the powered vacuum.
So, AGAIN...extremely disappointed in Culvers. A lame apology, a ton of excuses, and most of all....no offer at all to make up for our lunch. We will DEFINITELY NOT, ever return to this restaurant. Thanks for wrecking our meal, and then just...
Read moreWe will be making the extra trip to in and out burger from now on... Its hard to leave a two star review when the food is so yummy. But unfortunately this is the second time we have had to deal with fussy drive threw staff, and customer service is everything. I had asked for extra mustard and pickles on the side for both burgers. This is because we have asked for extra on our burgers and it never seems to work out. I did let them know about that and that we would like it on our burgers as well as extra. At first they seem genuine and understanding and even happy to do this for us. I paid and got my meal. I stopped for gas and checked the bag. There were no extra pickles. There was mustard and mayo at the bottom of the bag though. I pulled everything out and even checked the burgers. Normally I wouldn't go back, as its normal for them to forget our extras anyways, but it was on the way back home and figured I'd do so. I let them know at the drive through speaker and pulled forward. The first lady to hand me pickles seemed nice. I asked for a second because I had got two burgers. The second lady to hand me pickles was completely rude. Pretty much called me a liar and told me that she personally put the pickles somewhere for drive threw to grab, and now they are gone, so I must have them. Saying they are at the bottom of the bag or in with the burgers. I was shocked. I said I had check and opened the bag. To be honest, I half expected her to grab the bag and check herself. We live so close and this fast food has been our go to. We won't be returning to...
Read moreToday I came through the drive thru and ordered food, part of my order was chilli cheese fries, after getting my food and leaving to getting to my destination to find out they had forgotten the cheese and I just got chilli fries which isn’t the biggest deal but I paid for something that I had wanted and didn’t get what I had asked for. I had called and they told me to come back, which I had came back, and spoke to a manager at the drive thru window, a young girl who was completely rude and approached me saying “so what’s the problem” I then explained it again and she told me all she could do was give me cheese on the side? At that point my fries were already cold. Why they couldn’t have just made me a fresh thing of chilli cheese fries is beyond me, I would’ve waited however long. I was a manger for 3 years before and the whole situation could’ve been handled so much better! So here we are a super dissatisfied customer that will not be going here again! I will drive 30 minutes to...
