Visiting the area, I was looking for an açaí bowl option similar to what I’m used to. So this review will be comparing to my normal standard.
Pros: nice to get $5 off by using the app (1st time perk), helpful staff (I called in with questions), nice looking store, my order kept cold until I picked it up, seemingly fresh ingredients, no extra charge for gf granola, make-your-own option, lots of topping options, açaí base is açaí + banana + water (no added sugar according to staff.)
Cons: online ordering was a little glitchy, I couldn’t find a list of ingredients anywhere online, açaí base softer than I’m used to, vegan protein is Purely Inspired which has added sugar and other not so cool ingredients, peanut butter tasted more like off the grocery store’s bottom shelf than homemade, single use plastic container and plastic cutlery wrapped in plastic. Items listed vegan had honey in them, which made me question overall ingredients.
The price was $12 which is higher than I’m used to but I was finding $10-13...
Read moreI had ordered from Fresca Bowl & Poke Mahi off GrubHub and unfortunately my order got messed up and I wrote a review on the site. The owner, Bobby, graciously offered to have me come in so that they could fix my experience at the restaurant. I was greeted by Sunny who is part owner and he apologized for the mix up with my order and offered to make me a new bowl and to try a smoothie. I’m so happy to say that the second time around the bowl was perfect, it tasted good and fresh. The smoothie was also amazing and I also got to try some of the new menu items like their shrimp tempura and gyoza. I was really pleased with how they handled my order mix up and happy to get to have a good experience at the restaurant. I highly recommend stopping in and trying one of their poke bowls or a smoothie. They really have crafted everything with care and the owner/staff are amazing and kind. I can’t wait to go back when I’m in...
Read moreI liked this place. Great variety of pre-made poke selections, oatmeal, pitaya, chia, and açaí bowl selections. They also provide make your own bowl for all of the bowls. You can also get a pre-made bowl and substitute items (for me I substituted coconut flakes with hemp granola). For the poke bowls, they are quite big but for the fruity bowls, it was very small. I think that they might have a larger size but they didn’t ask me what size I want so I’m not sure. The lady was friendly, and tried to help us (since we were 9 people ordering). Place was very clean and neat, same with the bathroom. Overall, I recommend this place. It’s a nice hangout place with friends...
