Fresh Ó Tea — Restaurant in Princeton

I stopped by this place last week after hearing a friend rave about their drinks, and I’m so glad I did. The shop has such a warm, inviting vibe — bright, clean, and with a nice mix of cozy tables and spots to hang out.

I ordered their brown sugar boba milk tea and a mango milk tea. Both were excellent — the boba was soft and chewy, not too sweet, and the tea had a fresh, smooth taste that didn’t feel artificial. You can tell they use quality ingredients.

The staff was super friendly and patient when I asked for recommendations, and they even adjusted the sugar level exactly the way I wanted. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and drinks came out quickly even though the place was fairly busy.

Went in for the first time for taro milk tea and the young guy taking my order clarified that their taro was different than most other places and when I asked for further clarification he was rude, seemed annoyed and was pretentious about the taro. Honestly at that point I should have just left, but I still got the tea. The tea was good, but that doesn't mean much when your employee is rude to customers. I went in with three other school mates too and we were the only ones there and we sat down real quick to write some things down for a school assignment and the employee made the music louder as soon as we sat down to do our work. Definitely not returning after the lack of customer service...

The bubble tea here is very expensive / way too overpriced for the quality of tea they provide

I ordered a Passionfruit tea with tapioca, but it tasted like watered down orange juice, making it tied for the worst bubble tea I have ever had

Upon entering, there are stairs that you have to go up to get to counter, which may be inconvenient for individuals with knee, foot, or ankle problems / injuries

Two stars instead of one only because the service was relatively quick, the lady at the counter was alright, and the the tapioca was really good

Overall, this is not a bubble tea shop I would recommend or return to...
