Best pizza place that's actually 'in town' in Princeton. I used to live around the corner, left the area for a while and now work nearby quite frequently. Used to come here during the first version of this restaurant and while that was good, they've improved on it even more. Wonderful owners and staff. Good pizza and toppings.
The 'food scene' in Princeton has become a diluted mess of mediocre food, multiple eateries of the same type and horrible service. Most of the eateries are overhyped. Nice to see a basic, quaint establishment like this without the gimmicks, hype and over the top prices. Just good for and good service. Owners/management and staff at most other nearby eateries downtown are horrible. So when you find a place like this you come...
Read moreWhen I was in graduate school in Princeton 20 years ago, this location was called Old World Pizza. The brick oven remains, and the layout is similar, but as good as Old World was, the pizza here is better, in fact, just incredible. Sometimes they don't pick up the phone, and on more than one occasion, the guy at the register has literally thrown my credit card back at me instead of handing it to me like a normal adult. Really bro? They're rude on the phone and less than curteous in person, and when they do screw up your order- and they will - they do it Trump-style: zero accountability. Somehow it's your fault. I've vowed "NEVER AGAIN" after a few less- than-satisfactory experiences with this place, but their proximity to our front door alone gets me back...
