We recently dined at Taste of Mexico and tried the chicken fajitas. The chicken was well seasoned and flavorful, and the rice and beans were a great addition to the overall meal. However, I found the portion of chicken to be small, which was a bit underwhelming. Additionally, the vegetables, which are meant to be a side, ended up taking over the plate. I tried to confront the other worker about what happened and she acted as if she has no idea what was going on, even began laughing after I told her what happened. An off-duty waitress began to curse me out in front of other customers as I was leaving. I suggest not giving this restaurant any business. I do not support racist or discriminatory institutions and you shouldn't either. And no, the food wasn't worth it for the amount of abuse I endured. Bland, water-downed Mexican food. Off the Border on Route 1 is more authentic than whatever is served here. I'm sure there are plenty of authentic Mexican restaurants in within the Princeton-Trenton area who know how to treat their customers right. Shame on management for not speaking up when their employees are...
