The Pointe Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Prior Lake

I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised at the food served. It's been a while since I was last here and the food has really improved.

There was four of us for dinner and we decided to eat out on the patio. My daughter has a certified service dog - wears a vest - so has the right to take her anywhere... the great thing was is that no one said a word or even cared.

Their patio is gated yet has a great quiet feature to it which looks onto a grassy lawn and a line of border trees.

They were pretty busy inside Labor Day evening but we were fine and had a great server outside.

My Mom ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich, it was huge! It was served open faced with the coleslaw on top. She really enjoyed it, one of the best she's eaten and she's from the South!

My daughter and I ordered the Grilled Chicken Breast Buffalo Blue Cheese sandwich. It was nicely prepared on a Ciabatta Bun. We agreed that the chicken was a little over cooked but was still tender however the bun was a bit too big for the size of the breast meat. I also ordered a side of waffle fries with seasoned sour cream ...very tasty & addicting with everyone.

My daughter's boyfriend ordered the All American Burger. I barely got a photo of it. LOL! He loved it, juicy, melted cheese & plenty of bacon. He too ordered the fries and chowed them down as well.

Thought the food was just okay. Had a philly with cheese and onions with a cup of soup. Sat outside because it was a nice evening, but was very loud, and busy. A very casual place with clientele being from people who just got off the boat to people just hitting the place for drinks. Outside seating was very loud (as loud as inside). However, you wouldn't be able to hear anyone you're with inside because of dueling music, sports and collective activities and noise. It's more of a "hangout" than a date place. Not a good place or crowd for kids or small children for sure. Not even outside! Extremely distracting and over crowded. It was Saturday though, so maybe better service and environment on a weekday. Our wait person was very rushed and not very attentive. Seemed preoccupied with something else and then when was at our table I felt very rushed and there weren't that many tables outside. As well as she had other people helping her out and running for her. Guess it depends on what you're looking for in a restaurant (or bar). Maybe it's a great place if you don't want to be able to talk to whom...

First time visiting here and I enjoyed the food and the variety of food available, the atmosphere seemed good, however the wait staff seemed rather inattentive to our table (had three different servers come before we were even able to place an order). I ordered a side of cheese curds as an appetizer for our table (which we requested be brought out early but were brought out with our meals instead and were pretty cold), upon receiving my bill I noticed a service charge for the side of ranch they brought out with them (I never specifically requested the ranch, they just provided the side and proceeded to charge me for it) The service charge for condiments I found odd considering I never noticed anything on the menu indicating charges for normal condiments.
