Steak Escape — Restaurant in Prosperity

I love steak escape in general. Never had issues the many years I ate there. The one in this mall has certainly went so downhill it would be better off it closed. Not one worker has any passion or an ounce of care for their work. Every order I have had has always been wrong, if I was allergic to something I would've been rushed to the ER since the cooks don't go by the order. It's very slow for a place that's not often packed or busy. Quality control and consistency is terrible. Some days you'll get crispy fresh fries or burnt greasy potato sticks. The place always stinks of grease and tables not cleaned. Staff is overworked trying to run two establishments at once. Management needs to take into account that these are human beings not robots. I'd rather they close this place and put their resources into other businesses...

Waited 30 minutes in line before we made it to the counter, why? It wasn’t because it was a lunch rush or that there was a long line of people in fact there was one person in front. The staff was so focused on the door dash orders coming in they forgot to look up at the people in front of them. After making it to the counter to order we waited another 10 minutes while they scrolled on the iPad looking at you guessed it more door dash orders. When they finally took our order we repeated no lettuce several times clearly but after opening our sandwich was swimming in lettuce. I understand the mall isn’t as busy as it used to be and doordash brings in a lot of revenue but if you can’t handle both in person and online line orders maybe in person ordering shouldn’t be an...

Used to love going here, but we won't be back. Cooks and sandwich finisher got both my wife's sub and my sub wrong, we had my wife's sub remade and they still finished it wrong. The entire time I was waiting on the subs I could hear the employees complaining between one another, the grill looked like it had not been scraped since the first sandwich of the day, food falling out of the grill catch because it hadn't been scraped out either (there's a hole in the middle so the food falls in trash bin underneath) and not one employee seemed like they were happy to be there. I know alot of people aren't thrilled with their job, but if you're in public service you can atleast...
