Wish there were signs that describes the food in the glass case and the lunch lady didnt have a great grasp of English but we managed to understand each other well enough.

Tender ribs, fish bacaro, tripe soup, beef in spicy tomato sauce (no idea what it's called but man, I loved it) rice and beans and fresh fried plantain, 2 people for $30 and we had leftovers...

Ok!!!! "El Tipico" owners were wonderful, and the cook Claribel is definitely cooking with all her heart and soul. I liked how I didn't eat meat and she was very accommodating and cooked various options. Disgusted! I went and ordered a side of plain white rice. Anywhere it’s $2. She charged me for a full meal. When I went back to ask why she hid in the back. I could hear her giggling. How insulting is that. She then told her coworker she was confused. The co worker offered me $1 refund. I told her it wasn’t about the money to keep it. Way to rob your customers....
