I’ve been here 2 times so far with a few friends who are regulars. I have nothing but POSITIVE things to say about this place! The staff is very welcoming and all around great people. They are very passionate about their rotating selection of brews and it shows! They have the main establishment and then there’s an outdoor patio in the back where you can enjoy the summer weather with tables/umbrellas (there’s also a tv to watch the game). The food is made ready to order and has not disappointed once! HIGHLY recommend you check What Cheer Tavern out!

What Cheer is home to a lot of people in the Providence area. I've been coming here for years and years and still love it. Great drinks, amazing food, and fun and friendly staff. Nothing beats a summer night on their patio either watching the game while playing corn hole or watching actual live music. Feels like being at your best friends summer BBQ party! Did I mention they have that too? You have to go on a Sunday to get the infamous Horseman BBQ, you won't be let down.

What Cheer Tavern is a great neighborhood location that is warm and inviting. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Food was great! Not your typical tavern food; the crab sandwich had just the right amount of dill and other spices. If you get the chance to stop in, try the charred Brussel sprouts........absolutely delicious! Also has an amazing assortment of brew on the menu.

Hit this place for the first time last night and really enjoyed it. They have a great beer selection, a small menu of food (try the pretzel sticks- they're pretty damn good), good prices, and both indoor and outdoor seating.

The staff was super friendly and very pleasant as well, which is always important when it comes to a good neighborhood pub.

I wish there was better parking, but hey, what can you do? Parking is on the street and there is plenty of it all around, but I'm just letting you (the reader) know when you go to check it out (which you...

Wow this place was amazing it's small and cozy, very intimate great for a date. Beer selection is crazy awesome and they have some ranging to 9.6% definitely a beer lovers dream. The staff was very attentive and nice. I went with 3 other friends and we definitely had a great time. The dry rub wings were crazy good and the onion rings were also. The tater tots were swell and so were the french fries. Come here to check out the beer food and great employees. Also a big thank you to the staff for dealing with our loud ruckus, I...
