Had such a great time on Sunday at Club Frills! The vibe is super fun with a cool retro decor. It feels like a funky little time capsule. My only criticism is that it is pretty loud but in a way that actually works for the space. Prices are not cheap, so expect to pay for what you get. Amazing cocktails and a really dialed-in team.
Our server Kay was incredible. She answered all of our random cocktail questions off the cuff like it was nothing. Confident and super helpful without ever being pushy. Just one of those people who clearly loves what they do and makes the whole experience better. She knew the menu inside and out, and made us feel totally taken care of without being over the top. Just good, genuine hospitality.
Every drink we had was so good. Balanced, creative, and clearly made with care. Definitely one of those places where you want to try everything on the menu. I have my eye on the caviar corn dog.

Read moreVery disappointed with my experience at this bar. I went last Friday (June 20) with two friends and things went downhill quickly. We arrived at 12:30am for a last round. We ordered a beer and two drinks just a few minutes later, and received them at 12:45am. Not even 10 minutes after getting our drinks, the owner came over (in a not-so-friendly tone) to say it was last call. We explained we had just received our drinks and were already wrapping up. Still, less than 10 minutes later he came back and insisted we leave, basically not even letting us finish what we had just been served.
If you’re not going to give people enough time to enjoy what they paid for, you shouldn’t be selling drinks in the first place. On top of that, they charged $12 for a basic beer. I left feeling disrespected and won’t be...
Read moreBest take on a dive bar. The vibe is dark, neon, lights while the food is whimsical and nostalgic. We stopped by on a Thursday night with a reservation for four.
We tried the a variety of cocktails- Shiso Miso (boozy milkshake), Barbarella (Creamsicle) and some wine. For food, we tried the Oozie Doozie (onion ring meets mozzarella stick), caviar corn dog (seafood corn dog), tuna melt (raw fish tuna) and my favorite the Philly cheesesteak (vegetarian mushroom and cheese). Everything we tasted was creative and delicious.
Pro-Tips: come with friends so you can try everything you will need to ask the server to explain...
