Mr. Lemon has been a summer time staple for me since I was three years old. Every year I bring a friend from out of state to give them the real Rhode Island experience.

The lemonade is so smooth, it's the perfect texture. It isn't gritty, it isn't too hard, and it's not watered down at all.

They offer an amazing range of flavors and change them every week. For indecisive people like me, pick the tutti frutti for three complementing flavors in one cup! You can even request which three flavors go in yours!

The people who run this beautiful small business always recognize me and everyone else I've seen go up to order! They remember the flavors you like, they ask if you're feeling better if you had a bad week the last time you went (to cheer up, of course), they ask how your family is.

A Providence staple, Mr. Lemon is a little frozen lemonade shack in the Wanskuck neighborhood. It’s cash only, has a pretty small menu, and it only open in the summer with pretty limited hours, but the flavors really come through and it definitely rivals Del’s for best frozen lemonade in the state. It doesn’t have the little chunks of lemon rind, so in my opinion, Del’s is better but it’s very, very close.
