Tel Aviv Waterfront — Restaurant in Providence

Absolutely wonderful food, drink, and service. (Edit) all of the food and drink was absolutely worth it and I enjoyed the ambiance as well. I want to emphasize that, otherwise for the following, I strongly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. (Edit end) This would be 5 stars otherwise, except for the owner.

The owner (at least the one that was present at the time of my visit) was awful. Nagged the only employee who was on staff at the time (who was tending bar, assisting at the humidor, and getting food and drink for both dining room and patio) in front of patrons, crammed into the humidor, for something he should have handled himself. Absolutely useless, spent his entire time schmoozing with regulars and ignoring everyone else, any help his only employee needed, the phone, etc. I love the food, drink , and cigars but the place is owned by at least one absolutely garbage human who needs to stop smoking his own product and assist those that actually keep his business...

Food was fresh but no flavor. Drinks were really good! We ordered a hookah with our drinks but it didn’t come until after we received our entrees... We got our appetizers and food within two minutes and then hookah right after. So we decided to eat our food and once we were halfway done asked for new coals..she took the hookah and disappeared for another hour and didn’t come back until we were ready to leave. We were there two hours and had the hookah on our table maybe 15 minutes at most and didn’t smoke it because we were eating. We asked to get it taken off our check and the owner came over and was very aggressive and acted like we were in the wrong for asking it to be taken off even though we were there two hours and the hookah wasn’t even at our table for 90% of the time we were there. Service was slow even though it wasn’t busy, we seen our server talking at the bar while we were waiting over 40 minutes for coals. Definitely...

Went for a birthday dinner and drinks over the weekend. Waitress came to our table and took a stare at my friend when she asked if we could be on separate bills (something that we’ve done and seen others do multiple times) before saying yes but that it’s something they don’t normally do.

The food had no flavor whatsoever. I ordered the bbq chicken flatbread where the taste of boiled chicken out flavored the bbq sauce, the hummus was tasteless, and the sliders a friend ordered had no seasoning. Our waitress never came to refill our drinks and to top it off, when she realized we didn’t eat the whole meal said “you guys don’t know how to eat” and proceeded to tell us that she takes the leftovers and gives to the homeless to not be wasteful.

I understand that but the snarky remark and stating your customers don’t know how to cherish food was uncalled for.
