The Parlour is a dynamic place with a good selection of draft beers, and some liquors and wines. They try and keep the food as organic as possible, and they do a good job, but they don't try too hard to create some craft menu. What they are about is a place to watch some good Jazz/Blues and soak in the best of a somewhat neat, somewhat gritty Providence arts and craft culture. Check out their jam session night each Thursday and see for yourself. I believe it is every Thursday, or second or third Thursday of the month. Breath in the beauty of a movement just getting started in building a jazz/blues community in the Creative Capital.

My band, Imbolg played here last Saturday for the early show and we raised lots of money for charity. Played with some great bands, met some cool people and ate some killer food. The Pizza is as good as NYC Pizza. The staff was really easy to work with from Greg (the owner), Matty, the sound guy and the Bartenders Lea & Corrine (who even complimented us on playing a Misfits cover) Can't wait to play there again on our next tour.

This long time popular Providence venue for an eclectic blend of music styles is a favorite location for both musicians and local attendees. Have attended multiple events and seen many friends bands perform here over the years. Most recently Tammy and her band the Dust Ruffles!

Tonight. I thought I could enjoy, resonate and familiarized myself with a local bar of 10 years 🤔 on a Tuesday. BUT! at 12:25-30 before closing at 1am and last call i was VERBALLY told to leave by THE "manager staff" and door bodyguard.. before closing. After I paying for my drinks and denied requested songs. Which left me playing songs off my phone because no artist was present? I truly felt bullied and needed clarification why as a paid customer they was expressing and needed me to leave and I had to beg for me to finish my drink. I had to leave because i was told that everyone except me was a staff a my drink and then say I was being combative and disrespectful.?? Then to say "we don't want you here and/nor wait and rather you leave.. This is my first time here on a...

If I could give negative stars I would! I went here for the first time last night for a friends birthday and it was 1am so I thought i would ask the door man, which ended up being one of the owners, if he would cut me a deal as the night was practically over and we were going to buy drinks, which they shouldn't have even been selling alcohol after 1 am, FYI they were. He yelled at me, I then paid and he continued to yell at me. He was a complete jerk. Have you ever heard what's the harm in asking, I guess this guy hasn't. Totally unporfessional, maybe he was drunk? I have never been and I've lived in RI my entire life I will most definitely...
