Never in my life will I be trusting google reviews again. Idk why this place has so many positive reviews. Oh my god. First, my girlfriend ordered the paneer tiki masala…. It tasted like literal baby food? And sand? It was like a gritty paste and beyond gross. She asked for it spicy, it wasn’t, and genuinely we did not even eat it. It was INEDIBLE. I ordered the butter chicken. They made mine so spicy I literally couldn’t eat it (I asked for mild and even my gf said they clearly mixed up which item was spicy) and that really sucked. But also, my butter chicken despite the spice was watery and it was just absolutely gross. When I say watery I mean like put some food dye in water and throw in some boiled chicken and that’s what it was. I literally hate leaving bad reviews but this was such a waste of money. We threw most of the food away. Absolutely disgusting. Both had horrible stomach aches after. Absolutely a 0/10. I’ve tried most of the Indian places here in ri and this was by...
Read moreAuthentic Indian food. Boneless chicken korma was delicious, as were their vegetable samosas. The roti was also really good as was the tarka dal and lentil soup. There is a bathroom on the main level (I thought I recalled having to walk down a flight of stairs a year+ ago) and outdoor seating in addition to inside seating. Don't let the name put you off: their food is the real deal. Sorry: so hungry I forgot to...
Read moreA great, unexpected surprise! This shop has a fantastic selection of spices, produce, and grocery goods, centered around Indian cuisine. I walked away paying $12 for spices - with the amount I got, you’d have to pay probably 5x as much at major grocery stores.
Customer service was fantastic, even with me walking in 20 minutes before closing time. The man there was extremely friendly and courteous, more than willing to answer my questions and help me.
I’ll definitely be back...
