Myself and the two others I went to eat with are from Louisiana, born and raised. And we've searched and searched for some good authentic Cajun/Creole Louisiana food. And let me tell you, we sure enough found it here!!!! I ordered a pound of the boiled shrimp, medium spicy with the garlic butter sauce. Wow!! Not overboiled (unfortunately many seafood places cook too long but this place does not! They were just right, not rubbery and peeled easily!) The garlic butter sauce had a great flavor and the shrimp had a nice spicy profile without overwhelming the more subtle flavors. The corn and potatoes I ordered as sides were just right too. My boyfriend had the shrimp etouffee and it tasted like home. Very authentic and legit. My mom ordered the fried shrimp, which were a nice size with a good seasoning to the batter, and the cocktail sauce was something else! We even enjoyed the fries, although neither of us are big on fries. We also had Bloody Marys which were very authentic and delicious with a bit of a kick, clearly they know what they're doing with their Bloody Mary game. The greens were delicious soul food with a hint of spice. We gobbled down the food so fast we forgot to take pictures! It was all like you'd get back home, and the owner and bartender were super friendly and made us feel so welcome. The owner and his family are from down south so upon learning that I wasn't surprised to find it authentic. Also the place is really cute and has a nice ambiance. Definitely will be returning soon despite that I don't live super close to the area. Our whole party...

Came here during super bowl weekend. First i want to say the man & woman working were very nice. There were about 15-20 ppl in the bar that evening but they were having a bit of trouble keeping up. When i arrived ; I noticed there were a lot of fruit flies flying around so much so that I was uncomfortable. I ordered two hurricanes that were decent then Against my better judgment after being there for quite some time I ordered wings and hush puppies. The hush puppies weren’t the best I’ve had. My wing seemingly tasted alright until i noticed how pink it was, then I lost my appetite. They have alot of options on the menu that look tasty but honestly I was iffy about ordering because of the large number of flies swarming the bar so I keep it simple and was still disappointed. Also they have several tvs around the bar if you would just like to order a drink and...

I really do wish I could give Nola a five star rating. Both the bartender and the waiter who served my wife and I were doing the absolute best they could in what was very obviously a night plagued by staff shortage. Their efforts were unfortunately not enough to save the day.

The wait time for our meals was abysmal. We sat for a full 45 minutes or so after an appetizer run which was itself fairly delayed as there was only a single cook on duty. It was also quite difficult to get our drinks refilled as our waiter was forced to tend to far too many tables for a lone man.

My wife and I also had the pleasure of witnessing a substance of some kind being exchanged for money in the confines to the establishment itself which was quite a surreal moment.

We'll probably take our chances elsewhere moving forward should we have a hunger...

Struggling to find the words to describe how incredible everything tasted and looked today. We tried bbq chicken wings, which are breaded upon order. They were perfectly crispy and tasty with just the right amount of sauce. The jambalaya was full of flavor and just looked too beautiful to eat. The best plate was definitely the very hungry Nola boil. The garlic butter sauce and medium spice were PERFECT. I may have cried of joy a little. Last but not least, we had bignets for dessert and I'm pretty sure we were transported back to Cafe du Monde at first bite. Rich personally served us, explained all the menu options and even gave us a bit of history of his journey and inspiration behind his food. Best of luck in growing your business! 10/10 we can't wait for our next visit.

We met some friends there for lunch. The appetizers were great fried okra and barbecue shrimp. Service was good. Which is why I gave them one star. However, the food we had was horrible. It was very very salty. It appeared intentional. Three different dishes for the meal rice and beans, Cobb salad and chicken dish. Each dish had so much salt. I could not eat it. Horiible. I guess if they didn't want us there. We got the message. We will not return there. Could it be discrimination? Maybe, not sure. But one thing is for sure. I will never return there and neither will our friends.
