Small but cozy place I stopped by for dinner with a friend We were seated promptly and given menus. We both got the margarita on the rocks. They had three other options, but they were all frozen. I would have liked to have more non frozen opinions, but that's a small gripe. The margaritas were a tad more sour than I prefer, but they were still tasty Our Order came out (carne asada and tacos) The rice was a little dry, but the bad ends here. The steak was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the tacos were juicy and delicious For dessert we got the flan, and it was more dense than most I've had, but also quite good I'll definitely be back to try other menu items Stay tuned for updates!

Was out shopping and needed some late lunch. Followed the reviews and tried them out. Very good choice, fresh ingredients in everything I ate. They make their own salsa verde for their chips and it’s nice to know there are restaurants that cook old school style. I had the chicken flautas with guacamole and sour cream. Next best dish to my wife’s homemade flautas. Also, I enjoy a Sangria with my meal and theirs was good, not too sweet and nice and refreshing. Also the service was quick and welcoming. I’d definitely return again for a meal.

We had the tamales, tacos de carne asada, de lengua, and tilapia. Everything was delicious. I like that the food was very simple but flavorful. I also had the lime margarita, and it was also good! Our server was great, attentive, and made sure the area was always cleaned up.

I called an order in. I said “two chicken tacos, and one tilapia taco.” Immediately, I said “nope, oops I got that wrong. I meant to say two tilapia tacos, and one chicken taco.” The woman who took my order, repeated that back to me. 10 minutes later, I went to pick up my order. I admit, they repeated the order, but I was distracted by the heat and fan going in the room.

Got home. They got the order wrong. So I called the restaurant and said the order was wrong. They said if you wanna come back. And I said I don’t really want to because it’s a bit of a drive for me. And we could’ve left it at that. It’s a simple mistake.

So why am I posting this review? Because the woman who could have said Sorry and ended it with that, instead added, “This whole mistake would’ve been avoided if you would’ve listened.”

Verbatim. I mean, was that necessary?

I could say the same thing back to them because I did repeat my order when I called it in. And perhaps the woman who took it should have listened better. The problem isn’t the mistake. The problem is in the little person who answered the phone when I called back, and added that triggering comment, “this would’ve been avoided if you would’ve listened.”

When I tried to then call her out on that, she interrupted me and said I can’t believe we’re gonna argue about this. Then hung up.

This person needs to be sat down with by the owner or manager and have a nice healthy conversation about how to speak to Customers. Otherwise, she will lose them customers. I'm sure if she was that rude to me, she is...

Went there a couple of weeks ago, and I had ordered 2 steak burrito dinner. They were very good. Bragged about told that person how good they were in fact best burrito I've had. Fast forward to Aug 29 2025 at 12:06 pm. I had ordered the same as I did the pervious 2 wks.mind you it was really expensive still . $48.84 for 2 steak burrito dinners. Which was really high but I didn't mind because I had enjoyed them previously. Get to work, to get ready to enjoy my burrito dinner unfortunately I was very, very disappointed. I ate much as I could, and I couldn't take it. It was horrible. Then my phone rang and it was my husband asking me do I feel sick. I says no I don't mines was just plum nasty. So I asked him what was wrong he tells me that he instantly had gotten sick. I just couldn't believe that my food was not up to par. And that someone had gotten sick behind that burrito. I spent to much money on 2 burrito dinners. To not have an enjoyable lunch and my husband not have an enjoyable dinner without getting sick. I could have went to the grocery store for cheaper than that and make my own. So for this reason I will not be going back. The only good part was that the worker's were very nice and respectable. And the establishment was totally clean. But other than that. It sucked so no I will not go back there ever...

So many things wrong here and I feel obligated to set the record straight. Not sure how this place has such a high rating compared to nearby taco places. I knew from the moment I drove up that I was going to have a bad experience but I decided to trust google reviews. There’s nothing authentic here.

The food is priced according to the people walking in which sadly is a bunch of people with money to burn. At $5 a taco my expectations were low. It’s often the more expensive tacos that suck the most. It was also packaged wrong (in a foam food tray rather than being wrapped up tight in foil to preserve warmth). As such it was cold when I got home.

I also judge a place really hard on how heavy handed they are with the sour cream. This place got an F there. I had to scoop large globs of it off my taco. That’s a complete failure in my mind.

Somehow this place gets away with being in an affluent neighborhood with people that don’t know authenticity and are tricked by trendy store decals.

Do yourself a...
