Stopped in when the place was pretty much empty with only another set of customers in front of me. When it was my turn the young girl at the counter was trying to rush me to order and wouldn't answer questions clearly about meal options. Menu didn't seem to user friendly either. She quickly packed my order which was basically $16 for 3 pcs of chicken and 3 small sides and a coke (way over priced for what was received). The tables in the restaurant weren't really clean and I sat at the cleanest I could find. The pieces she gave me were small portions and she never packed napkins. When I returned to the front and asked the manager for napkins she gave me this rude stare and slowly walked to the back to grab only a few napkins. The chicken was overly greasy (slimey), the cornbread tasted funny and the sides lacked flavor. What happened to this place? I remember Boston Chicken being so good. I know it's Boston Market now, but this place was horrible. Why even keep this location open. Nobody obviously really goes here and the service is poor. As I was eating I heard another customer ask for napkins and be told that this was the last of the napkins because they were out. Shortly after I heard the same manager talking to her employee about placing some in the drive thru and a few upfront (which had to be more napkins). They obviously have no care for sit down business and have resorted to being a pickup/drive thru location. I mean, you would think as we crawl out of this pandemic restaurants would go above and beyond to get customers back. The fact that this place was unsanitary and low on supplies leads me to believe that management doesn't care. They need to send a corporate manager to this location and make...
Read moreFor the people wondering why everything is so trash. Jay pandya the owner of Boston market is not paying any of these people. He is a fraud. All of the food is store bought by the employees because no vendor will work with Boston market because jay pandya does not pay the vendors. The mashed potatoes are boxed mashed flakes, the chicken is old, and the sides are either frozen bag veggies or from a can. He also does not pay the rent for any of the locations nor does he pay the employees. And if he does pay the employees they work for free for months on end until he decides he wants to pay them. I am a previous manager at the Chicago location. We will not be receiving W2’s because he wasn’t reporting us to the government for our work. I am still owed 2 checks that he has refused to give me because I would not come in and work for free. No one is helping us. Not department of labor nor unemployment. I’m not sure how we will file taxes. If you do not believe this review search the name Jay pandya in google. He filed for bankruptcy a month ago. He refuses to pay his employees, vendors, and building owners. He owes millions in lawsuits. This isn’t his first ride around the rodeo. He is lawyered up and not care about our comments of taking him to court. So please be kind with the employees working here because it is not their fault. All of it is out of their control. All they can do is their best. We have families to feed and bills to take care of and this man used us. If anyone can help us or shine a bigger light on our situation it would be...
Read moreI have visited this Boston Market location on multiple occasions, and unfortunately, my experiences have been far from satisfactory. The order buffet was consistently half empty, leaving very limited choices for customers. To add to the frustration, the beverage fountain has been out of order during my last three visits, which is quite disappointing for a restaurant of this caliber.
Moreover, I noticed a significant decline in the quality of the food. The chicken, which used to be a highlight of their menu, has been consistently dry and lacked the tenderness I had come to expect. The lack of variety was also concerning, as only chicken and meatloaf were available, with no pot pies, which were a favorite of mine.
The only thing left that's good about the store is that the staff keeps a smile on their faces, even though you can sense that this place is going downhill. Their positive attitude is commendable amidst the apparent challenges faced by the establishment.
I truly hope the management takes note of these issues and takes necessary steps to improve the overall experience at this location. As a longtime customer, it pains me to see this once great restaurant on what appears to be its last leg. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but my recent experiences have been quite disheartening.
While I'm optimistic about potential improvements, based on my recent encounters, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this Boston...
