Asian Express — Restaurant in Proviso Township

It is best to avoid this place if you can help it. I simply wanted sauteed vegetables or steamed with some meat. The vegetables we're soaked in some sort of dark sauce could be some sort of soy sauce and the meat terriyaki chicken was flavorless as it seems like they just soak it in salty terriyaki mixture. The smoky chicken that they served me was left overs on a food tray that's been sitting there slowly dehydrating. It was Soo salty and mixed with entire large pieces of spices, large black peppercorns and large staranese among other undecipherable spices. I don't want to sit and mess with my food trying to pick out what's edible and what's not. I highly do not recommend this place. They want to play on words and call themselves Asian express well maybe visit panda express and learns thing or two about...

I had ordered from this place several times; giving them a chance to redeem themselves each time but, they never did. The first time I ordered online they did Not delivered the correct food I ordered.

The second time online order; they only delivered half of what I ordered.

The third time online order; I waited 2 hrs. Spoke to them and she said she forgot to place the order??? How is that possible if the order is online. ?? Anyway, they still delivered the wrong order!!!

Unfortunately, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone knowing that I myself will never order from Asian Express again.

And that's to bad because I love supporting our neighborhood businesses.

I hope they find a proficient new management soon because, there's a lot of competition and they can quickly go out...

I usually come here often and never had a problem but today I ordered a chicken teriyaki plate and was shocked to find a literal piece of glass inside my food. I never had anything like this happen before thankfully I saw it before I bit into it or else this would have been a serious issue. Update! While I did receive a replacement meal which was fine. I don’t like the fact the owner edited his response by saying it wasn’t glass and it was just plastic from the lid when it was %100 for sure a piece of glass lol. I just wanted people to be aware of this as this could potentially happen again just to be cautious.
