I do not shop at restuarants where they treat white men better than black men. I walked in stood back to decide what to buy and stepped to the counter. Black young lady named Linda or something waits about 1:20 minutes to notice me and tell me she is busy and hold on. About 5:00 minutes later after showing tons of concern with serving white customers first she finally decides to take my order. I sit back and pretend like I am paying her no attention. White guy comes in, she nearly breaks her neck to serve him within 10 seconds. Bye bye love, White Castle. You will not see me there again. I complained about it and she laughed. What's funny??????? I guess it is funny for the owner to lose the money from my business. The manager heard me asking her what was going on and the manager apologized right away. At least the manager has common sense. Then she's talking about she was dropping sides. She needs to go back to the 1st grade or a special school or see a psychiatrist if it takes her 5 minutes to drop sides. I was watching her, she was preparing food and drooping sides, she was not just dropping sides. But if it takes that long to "drop sides," then she is in the wrong business like a pocket with a hole in the bottom. She was taking her sweet time. There won't be a second time. I'll never experience that again. UPDATE: I just talked to my friend who worked for White Castle for over 30 years and retired. They say that is not the standard protocol, they are not supposed to make the customer wait like that. I have also learned that White Castle claims they cannot afford to staff their restuarants. They can afford it, they just want a larger profit. Instead of making a 30 million profit they want 30.2 million profit or something like that. Pissing me off is not an option. Get people in there to serve me like they have some sense before I really go my merry way. Find some other kind of way to boost your profits without pissing me off before I arrange to stop you from getting any profit...
Read moreI just got back home from a wasted trip to this White Caste in an attempt to pick up and bring back food for my family when the cashier decided to impatiently void my transaction because of a $0.20 difference that was owed, which myself and my passenger both were able to hand over and complete the purchase of our large order. She refused to let us pay her the leftover change and told me that I would have to wait 2-3 days to have my money refunded back into my account. Not only did I waste my time, gas, and money, I had to spend even more time, gas, and money to seek an alternative that everyone would agree upon. Keep in mind, everyone was craving those sliders and it’s a true disgrace to have been treated the way we were by your inconsiderate, rude, and impatient employee who desperately needs a reality check when it comes to playing with a hungry man’s money. This took place about 1am 10/8/24. She had dark long hair so it wasn’t the employee with red hair. Absolutely disgusted with her lack of compassion and dedication to her employers and customers. I’d rate my experience a negative score if possible. I’ll tell everyone I know to at least avoid that particular White Caste just to not have their money taken then leave with no food. I’ll never forget this experience. Truly...
Read moreI was disappointed. Came in and ordered a crave case of 30 cheeseburgers. Young lady (very nice and courteous) said that will be $36. I thought that was kind of high but figured maybe their prices went up. After I paid I looked at the board and it said $33.99 for the crave case cheeseburgers. I mentioned it to what appeared to be the manager. I did say don't worry about it, it's only a couple of bucks and the young lady who waited on me was very nice. What did bother me was immediately to my left was a sign that said 10 cheeseburgers $8.99. If I had gotten 3 of those bags it would have cost me $27 instead of $36 (yes I know, this was my fault, I should have seen this). I don't know, I just think that the employee should have said to me, you can get 3 bags of the 10 cheeseburgers (again, 30 cheeseburgers) and save $9 (even the manager could have given me a credit for the difference). In their defense, I did say to forget about it (I said it in a nice way). I guess I'm just venting because I paid $9 too much. Oh well, if I was rich I probably wouldn't...
