Las Gorditas De Don Angel # 3 — Restaurant in Proviso Township

Buyer beware.... ONLY CASH BUSINESS. DIDN'T KNOW I HAD TO USE ATM THERE so NOW I WILL BE CHARGED DOUBLE. A WHOLE $7 CAUSE I HAD TO USE THEIR ATM.Girl was nice. Took a long time to get a few gorditas and their rolled burrito. Ordered a second round again took super long. Some gorditas are not what expected for instance potatoes with chorizo is not diced potatoes. Its like a mashed potatoes with a red hint of the chorizo. The asentas gordita wasn't good either. My daughter didnt like the egg in red sauce she said it was flavorless. I will say their chicharron verde gordita was good and my favorite. I did like that a guitarist came in but after one song he left. Then an accordion guy came in played one song then left. I went their seeing an add on Google that gorditas were $2.00 but really $2.65 which is not a bad price but $2.00 would have been better.

Bathroom had poop on wall. Almost put my head on the poop.

Owner please look into accepting credit cards.

Also put a better twist on your gorditas. For instance add flavor to the red chile one with egg.

The potatoe and chorizo... don't make it mashed potatoes. Actually dice id in squares and add chorizo.

Etc... faster food being cooked. Might have to get another Helper for evenings and busier time.

Also bathroom was pretty dirty. Had actual poop on the wall. Better cleaning restroom.

I guess I can go on but I have to...

02/08/24 I came here today, and I had a bad experience. I ordered my food, and she brought me the wrong order. I didn’t say anything. I then ordered take out and they gave me the wrong order. I told the cashier that my order was wrong, and she got bothered. She was very disrespectful, I didn’t say anything to make her talk to me in that way. I just wanted my right order. She told me that there are people like that. That say they get the wrong order so they don’t have to pay. I asked for her name and she disrespectfully said that she wouldn’t give me her name. One goes to consume here, not to get things for free. Unfortunately the people working here don’t know how to treat the client in a respectful manner. The cashier is a young lady and it seemed like she was the one in charge. I won’t be coming here again just to be...

We really enjoy coming here but today was just such a horrible experience, we walked in and it seemed like any other time we do, we sat it took at least 5 min before we got the menus, the lady that brought our menus stated that our server would be over, while we patiently waited the owner was seating right next to us having a great time with two girls talking about going out to have drinks and don’t worry you don’t have to pay and bla bla bla, not once did he asked at all have you been help didn’t even acknowledge that we were there just waiting, two other guests had to get up because they forgot their drinks and got there order wrong. We continued to wait and when the server finally walked by she said give me a minute as she started cleaning tables as if we had not waited...
