So I went to Java junkies yesterday before work at about 4:30 PM on July 27th 2025. It’s my favorite place to get good sugar free coffee. I’ve never had a bad experience with service tell tonight. I walked in it was busy inside but not like what’s normal every time I’ve been in. There were a few people in front of me but not much. I got to the front and went to order and the barista taking the order asked if I was on the same ticket that these other people were on. I politely said ā€œoh no I am not it’s just meā€ ā€œshe said okay no worries it’ll be just a second.ā€ I agreed said that’s perfect she had the guy pay whose order it was. She then came back to me she apologized I said ā€œit’s okay no worries, if it’s to busy I don’t need a drinkā€ She then responded ā€œNo that’s okay it might just be a few minutes thoughā€ ā€œ I said that’s okay do you by a chance know roughly how long it will be? I just have to get to work ā€ She turned to the guy making the orders and he said with so much unneeded attitude ā€œThey drinks will get out when they get out, if you needed to get to work you should of looked around the building and not came in.ā€ I was shocked by the response and I did tell him there is no reason to be a asshole. Which isn’t the best response either so I apologize. But I was in shock that he spoke like that, when i offered not to even get a drink in the first place and was just curious on a rough time estimate to see if I even had time to wait. I would of been happy to wait if the time was in my range. But I was honestly was shocked and just felt so disrespected. I totally understand having a rough day at work, I work in a Hostpital I deal with rude people all day. But that respectfully is not the way to talk to customers especially when I was being very polite to begin with. So it was a little...

For starters this place has mega chill ambiance. Inspiring with cool architecture, comfy seating and a live music stage. Classic real coffee house cafe vibes. Sketchbook on the table and cool art. We were stoked too because the coffee was delicious and they have in house cups for the environmentally courteous. Espresso over ice and Americano both quality roast. But then we were like dang, the conversation of the baristas/manager? was really mean/judgy about some former customers and loud and we only heard it because we were trying to ignore the worst music which was louder...it was like horrible red flag lyrics pop...no other way to describe it...so we decided.. "hey to each thier own lets sit outside" and to our horror they had speakers outside, also loud, and then when the beverage did its work and we needed a bathroom, the bathroom was in another building which is ok but coffee house without a bathroom? I mean maybe they can't because of the pipes or something. Not a big deal but it just didn't feel welcoming or cozy despite all we liked about it. The good news is when we went back ( because the coffee was so good), the vibe was way better and genuinely chill and the music was really quiet. I couldn't even hear it in the speakers outside. We also just saw a great response from the proprietor and makes us like them even more. Solid goat. I'm looking forward to going back and checking out their...

this is for the springville shack location and if i could leave -5 stars for customer service i would. worst customer service i ve ever experienced, been here over a year and never offered me a punch card or even let me know they had them until last week but they were out of them. i said this is bullshit that they couldn't split card payments (because i had been here previously for over a year and been able to do split card payments) and am now banned from getting coffee here. good coffee but really bad customer service if you have tattoos and are a little ghetto they will not treat you good just for swearing saying bullshit. i was a daily customer sometimes even more than once a day and now am banned to give them money ever again for coffee because i said bullshit. after she told me i am banned she said if i would have said sorry i wouldnt be banned but i think its even more bs that they banned me for saying it’s bs i wasn’t even rude about it i just was being straight forward. there was a long line behind me and i was trying to pay split payments instead of transferring my money and taking longer. they’ve always been able to do split payments until that day and then were rude to me about it because i said bullshit. not even fair haha normally local utah coffee shops aren’t like that....

Cute little coffee spot in Provo. I tried two drinks and a breakfast sandwich to get a good feel for the place. • Cold Brew: If you’ve read my reviews before, you know I’m a cold brew girl—I always use it as my baseline for a new coffee shop. This one had an odd flavor, almost like it was made with coconut. Not my favorite, and I wouldn’t order it again. • Dubi Chocolate Iced Latte: Better! I always pull a quad shot in my lattes (because yes, I want to taste the coffee). This one was on the sweeter side, but it was well-balanced and enjoyable overall. • Breakfast Croissant Sandwich: Surprisingly good! Flaky, warm, and satisfying. A solid win. Would I go back? Maybe. It’s a 50/50—not for the cold brew, but I’d consider returning for the breakfast and to try more of their lattes.

Loved going to Java Junkie. I went here with my aunt as an early birthday outing, but I have been following Java Junkie for some time now. They have amazing people who perform (though not when I came lol) and they have many options, i had an Italian cream soda and they have so many syrups I swear they have every one that you can imagine so the limits to what you get are basically infinite. They also have this Note book where you can draw in or write poems or anything that I loved so much. I would love to come again, it would be a great place for studying with coffee, desserts, and internainment if you need something In the background to focus but can't study at home haha. I would definitely recommend coming here!

There’s a few local coffee shops in the area but this one is my personal favorite. Always good vibes when I stop in and most importantly the coffee has been consistent. All of the lattes that I’ve tried are delicious and I’d have a hard time picking a favorite. They have a fine selection of food and desserts available at a respectable price point. If you love coffee, historic buildings, and a friendly staff I’d highly suggest checking them out! Oh, and they have live music on Saturday nights and occasionally showcase a local artist of the month- which adds to a memorable coffee house experience. Will continue to give them my business, thanks Java Junkie!
